INSIDE Abandoned Fiesta Mall

- Fiesta Mall opened on October 3, 1979 and closed on January 27, 2018. It has been vacant ever since. Plans for the empty building included converting it into everything from an educational campus, a medical facility, and a senior center. However, none of these have come to fruition.
We had a once in a lifetime opportunity to explore this abandoned mall a few months back when we shot this video. It was an amazing experience! In parts of the video you can hear an alarm going off (We did NOT set it off! It’s been going off for a long time, I heard it from the outside over a year ago when I went to shoot pics of the exterior). Otherwise the mall was eerily quiet. It now sits vacant, completely locked and boarded up, and is patrolled by security. There are a lot of still photos on our FB page if you’re interested in checking them out!

I'm shocked you were able to gain access. It's been closed for a few years now. I'm glad to see that it hasn't been completely vandalized inside. The leaking water isn't good tho, if left unrepaired it'll only get worse.
It’s terrible now the glass is everywhere the whole place is trashed it’s so sad
@@princeherb1079 I've seen, I'm so pissed. People are fucked.
I remember when the mall was built. I remember the grand opening and how packed it was. My childhood was spent quite a bit hanging out at Fiesta Mall. I will always cherish this place. Time is a bandit. I would NEVER have thought it would end up like this.
😢Me either. I remember shopping there in the early 2000s, it was always busy. 🛍
Malls all over the country are slowly becoming extinct unfortunately.
You can thank the Internet for this. On-line shopping thanks mainly to Amazon and Walmart.
When I was a kid (5th-8th grade) I use to live close to Fiesta Mall back in the late 70's and early 80's. In fact, I remember passing by the area while the mall was still being constructed. Once it was built, It had an arcade, cool novelty shops, a movie theater and I took piano lessons there. Me and my school buddies spent a lot of time there. Like, every other day we were at Fiesta Mall. We even watched a popular local DJ (Jonathon Brandmeier) perform a live concert there just before he took his DJ act to Chicago. I live in Dallas, TX now, and it's sad to see Fiesta Mall in the condition that it's currently in. It's like, a portion of my childhood went with it.
💕Thank you so much for sharing your memories! Fiesta was a really neat mall, it’s sad to see it in this condition 😢
Fiesta Mall was such a huge part of my childhood and teen years in the '80s. The various ideas that have been floated about keeping the building intact and repurposing it have been great, but we all know they'll end up tearing it down in the end and building high end condos and shops on the land. So it goes. 😥
Its soo clean
Damn I miss going to this mall in my childhood days and early adult years I wish it could've stayed open
Yeah buddy the 90s into the early 2000 1st stop sbarro in the food court then the hat club by the elevator foot locker across to just sports then to anchor blue down the stairs to champ sports
This is so cool! Have some memories going to that mall. I always wondered if there were squatters in it now. Shame to see the building just abandoned in the middle of Mesa in a pretty good area.
*”I always wondered if there were squatters in it now”*
Imagine going in there like this in the wee hours and some squatter popped out from somewhere. Wouldn’t that just scare the living piss out of anyone?!
@@kramalerav I've driven around that parking lot at night. It's pretty spooky! Not sure what's going on in the shadows.
@@beerwolf8518 Ever play Silent Hill 3 or Manhunt on PS2? There is a mall level in those games that strongly resemble this now abandoned Fiesta mall. Being that I have many memories of this place from way back when I was a kid makes this RUclips video all the more creepy for me.
This is like the fourth or fifth RUclips video I’ve seen showing the abandoned Fiesta Mall. I guess it’s kind of touristy now this way.
It's so sad all of our malls will be gone before we know it
You have Jeff Bezos to thank for that!
Amazon & Democrats want citizens to stay inside their houses.
Wow I did not expect it to be in such good condition. Also what was that background noise? Was a fire alarm going off in one of the anchors?
This video was shot almost a year ago; from what I’ve heard, vandals have trashed the place since then. I think the sound is a security alarm. I had been over there several months before this video was shot, and could actually hear it from the outside!
Awesome video. Nice location.
It seems the second floor still has some remnant decor from the shops while the first has been largely stripped away.
Some good memories at that mall 🍻
Went here not too long ago like 4 nights ago at night, they have a bad time trying to keep us out lmk if you need a tip abt coming in
Thank you and yes please! If you’re on FB or IG check out our page and you can send us a private message.
So sad to see its current state, this video is a good call back
it really sucks how i never got to experience this mall, my family was too poor to even go past sears, sears was yet barely starting to get closing sales
This video gives me the creeps.
It was pretty creepy in there!
Nice video
Any tips on getting inside? I want pics for a project but I went tonight and didn’t see and obvious way of getting in. Help?
Thats called trespassing
We were granted access, but that is no longer a possibility thanks to squatters and vandals breaking in and destroying property. IDK why people have to be such destructive idiots! It is still boarded up, and now has security patrol from what I hear.
@@abandonedaz5952 That being said, the squatters and vandals have put their own touches onto it to give it the creepy vibe that of a level in some horror survival video game.
Cant prosecute trespassers IF no one is around to press charges.
Creepy, like the end of the world came.
The last of us
To @bill 1127: Nope, it's even more dire than that... Amazon & Walmart have taken over the planet
Creepy!
how did you get inside?
We were allowed access.
