I dont quite know why but Im having a hard time enjoying this game.
Surprisingly, it turned out to be a really good immersive sim in the atmosphere of horror. The only logical disadvantage is that the locks on the doors do not have keys and open only from the inside, which is strange. We could make a housekeeper for each sector or the keys to the locks separately and hide them securely in different corners. In general, 9 out of 10 Deus Exes, and next time don't forget about the keys :) Good luck!
Amnesia games are just different, great work to the developers, keep up.

I’ve been following the amnesia franchise since The Dark Descent, and now with this game that looks amazing I’m so ready to play it, Thank you Frictional Games!
This game is the best to point out: "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes"
Sooooo many gamers will die a thousand times ignoring sound clues, using their flashlight too much or too close to the enemies, running - even though the games teaches you not to. We will laugh our arses off at how many times people will fail playing this. It will be fun for sure.
I can't wait to see how many people will shit their pants upon seeing the lights go out because they forgot to keep the generator powered.

Some people play like that to diminish the scariness factor. If you run into the monster, see it and die 1000 times you get used to it.

@@lifeinthehands6972 I did and they are all great games, especially resident evil 4 and dead space 1 and 2 are amongst my favourites. But The Bunker is different, minimalistic combat, you can only hide or run away from the monster thats constantly hunting you makes me feel terror like never before

There are bunch of different indie horror movies scarier then Alien but that doesnt show they are better.

Comparing these game mechanics to Amnesia Game Mechanics(it was all running and hiding) is a madness.
Then I tried to Play Amnesia Bunker.
İt was fucking boring.
Sales of franchise prooves me right.
Total sales of 4 games are not even 3 million(which is not even Dead Space 2 game, and nowhere close to compare with worst mainline RE game)
Callisto Protocol got average scores from Metascore and it was much better than any Amnesia game.

Damn the ending scene gives me chills everytime, just the thiught if being dragged somewhere where its dark to and cant see the monster and that no one will find you is just terrifying

I really wish that Frictional games would get the rights to make a game in "The Thing" universe. It would just blow my mind.

Easily my game of the year. Maybe even all time. I just love the concept and the mechanics work very well.
I actually think this may just be one of the best horror games I have ever played. The exploration mixed with playful trial and error make this not only a scary game but a fun one to experience too.

Don't know about you, but I haven't felt so scared since the first Amnesia, and that fear was preceded by the SH and og RE series.. this game is just PERFECT
I've just finished the game... Now I must spend a word to thank you for all your efforts to develop such a beautiful game. I loved the mechanics, the sound design, the darkness, the beast.
I think THIS is the right path to follow for this franchise.

Awsome game! I got introduced to frictional via SOMA i got trough humble bundle. It blew my mind how well a horror game could be made. That was pretty much my gateway into the horror genre and i have to say while i like resident evil and outlast too, no one does it quite like you guys. Just finished the bunker today, it was awsome.
Just finished it and stopping by to say this game is fantastic. I was on edge from the beginning, but the final stretch is just terrifying. Highly recommend

Today i finish this game at Normal difficulty and i must say that, this is my new favorite horror game.
I enjoyed so much first amnesia and machine for pigs, but this one is holy grail of this series.

Just beat the game and Im blown away. I am a massive fan of the Amnesia series and this game was absolutly amazing and horrifying. Great work Frictional. Can't wait til the next Amnesia adventure.
Just finished my first ever play through of this game, did it on hard mode to get the true experience and I managed to clock in around 12 hours.
Absolutely genius, definitely deserving of the Amnesia title. Definitely very able of carrying the legacy of Amnesia. Everything about this is just chef's kiss

Man I start to breath heavy just watching this. Last frictional game I could finish was SOMA but couldn't finish rebirth. Gotta give this a go just to support the developers though. They are without a doubt the best in the horror genre.
I always love how frictional games reinvents themselves every game. I copped the frictional games bundle and now im only playing their games. I think i have completed every game 5 times at this point😅 Definitely the greatest horror game developers of all time no competition
Dead Space and Resident Evil 4 remake came out this year, but Amensia: The Bunker will be my favorite horror game of the year.

no guns...
the "unsafe" safe room
LIMITED SAVES " either consumable via lamp fuel or only a certain amount of times you can save"
its just an idea to make this game even more brutal, fun and immersive! (great game btw)

Bought it the second it released. I hope you guys sell 1,000,000 copies. I’d love to see a continue from dark decent or something to do with castle brennenburg Soon.
Maybe make it as gritty as the first one. The brain is the most powerful organ, when the mind is forced to fill in a the blanks it becomes a much more powerful game. Hence you will notice the older games tend to have a stronger impact due to the lesser graphics, gritty textures, dark music and green to grey lighting.
There is so much psychology behind it and you guys nailed if with the first one.
The sound design is so good.
I love how consistently you guys release absolute bangers and at extremely reasonable prices too. honestly Frictional Games are a gem in todays climate and culture.
Getting fuel for the generator is very satisfying.
On the other hand when that pocket watch ticks down quickly and the fuel runs out , I am so fucked😂

Never have I been so excited for a game that's gonna make me piss my pants
I just finished it on Hard difficulty and oh boi, that was one hell of an experience, at first I was really scared of the monster but after couple of hours it wasn't that big of a problem, the biggest problem was managing the fuel which was really scarce. Basically you need fuel to go through story oriented missions, so if you play on hard I would recommend using it only when going to direct story missions rather than just exploring the bunker

Same here finished on Hard and I've gotta say the difference shows by comparing to people playing normal difficulty on yt. Monster is much more aggressive, much less resources, especially the fuel. I was dumb enough to waste a lot of fuel and had to play basically half the game without generator.... it was pretty hard and intense
Hint: look for empty bottles and go to the chapel

I'm a big fan of The Dark Descent back in the day (and also played A Machine for Pigs, but I didn't like it to much), and although I knew that there were new Amnesia games like Rebirth, they never got my attention. But today thanks to RUclips algorithm I was surprised to see this new game that I never heard about and it was released this month. Even better it is setting in the WW1, this gave me Deathwatch vibes (a WW1 supernatural horror movie if anyone's remember it), and I just see one tiny trailer of 1 minute and I just buy it. Now I'm downloading it on my Ps4 and I'm super excited to play this game! Thanks frictional games for The Dark Descent and the Penumbra series, now let's try this game!

I don't doubt that even with a 🔫, this game will still deliver the psychological horror of the past!The horror of amnesia is right up there with outlast in just how terrifying the psychological horror can be. I just found out about this 10 minutes ago! It's already so perfect! Y'all make such good content!

I haven't beaten it yet but so far this game is amazing! Dark Descent was a masterpiece, Pigs had perfect audio but so-so story and goofy monsters. Rebirth I like to pretend doesn't exist. I've played Bunker for about 3-4 hours excluding time lost from deaths and I can say it lives up to Dark Descent standard while also having its own identity as a game. Great work!
I was a bit skeptical about having a gun as IMO horror games aren't scary when you can just kill the monsters and cheese through. For any others with this concern - Bunker is more like Alien Isolation where you can't kill the monster - only stun it to save yourself a few seconds (little longer if you blow something up) so the sense of danger is definitely maintained!
Amnesia is a great series, there's no doubt about it. But I would like to see another game like SOMA (or maybe SOMA series?) - scary in different way than in Amesia and more philosophical :D
I just purchased this and plan to play today! Everyone's comments on how scary it is are both delighting and terrifying me.

Here on Series X. Ads sensitivity should have a separate slider from your look sensitivity. Not only that x and y should be standard when you’ve got a fps game. I also noticed there was an option to change your buttons around so you can run with the left stick BUUUUUT you have to press and hold the stick to run, not press and toggle it like every other first person game. This is clearly a pc game made by people who only play on keyboard and mouse.
