    23,000 miles 35 month review.. Central NJ. Low cost but same performance as more expensive tires
    I installed these tires on my Honda Pilot on Dec 02, 2019. I drove them in light snow and ice, sometimes at 5 AM when it was very cold and the water had froze over to black ice on the road. For winter weather when these tires were brand new they were excellent. They were not smooth on RR crossings or pot holes compared to my previous Firestone LE2 tires. Braking on snow and ice was excellent and some of the best performance I have seen in my 40 years of driving.
    After COVID hit I drove down FL, for the most part it was a smooth highway ride but not as good as previous Firestone LE2 tires. I returned to NJ by the end of summer 2020, the drive back was a little smoother after the tires had a couple of thousand miles on them.
    Winter 2020-2021
    Absolute monsters on the snow and ice, no slip. Only way I could get them to slip was to push the gas down. I tested them out in an empty parking lot.
    Nov 2022, tires have 23K miles on them, I would say they are about 75% as good as they were when new. Even when tires have a 70K mile warranty they become unsafe at 50K miles. I have a life time alignment package with Firestone so it does not cost me anything to get an alignment done when I get an oil change. Also purchase lifetime balance every time I get new tires so balance rotate and alignment about 3X a year. I still don't get the full warranty period wear on any of my tires.
    I might make a video to post on here

      Are the Atturos still doing OK for you? How many miles? I'm thinking of putting these AZ610s on my Honda CR-V. When people talk about tires on the Honda forums, they talk about $170 tires like Continental, Michelin, Goodyear,, etc but never the less expensive tires. Are these tires just as good? Are they as quiet as high priced tires? I read the reviews on SimpleTire and seem pretty good for the price. Thanks.

      @@rgraz4929 Go for it they are tough tires, ran over all kinds of debris on the road, gravel. and the funny thing every time my mechanic sees my SUV he asks me if I put on new tires, meaning the tread still looks pretty good. They are little more stiff than firestone LE 2s that I had on before but it is not a deal breaker for me. If you do put them on let me know how they work out for you.

      @@rgraz4929 That is a good price, I paid about $105 for 245 70 16 for my pilot 3 1/2 years ago. I purchased them online and got the life time balance service from Firestone. Sorry I dont remember the seller. but just do a google search for tire sellers online there are so many of them. BTW Tire rack is way too expensive now days. I used to buy from them over a decade ago. I am going to get the off road Atturos for my truck when the current tires need to be replaced.

    Since we're on the subject of tires. On the 01 Expedition,,, what type tires would you recommend?

    • @Newman81964
      @Newman81964 4 года назад +3

      That would depend on the type of driving you do. If you do any off-roading, then get an All Terrain tire. If you are just a street driver, then get an All Season tire. The 01 Expedition is normally a 16" tire unless you got the 17" option on your vehicle. It uses either the 255/70R16 if the 16 inch tire or the 275/60R17 if the 2wd version or the 265/70R17 if the 4wd version that uses 17 inch rims. It's your choice on who makes the tire and how aggressive the tread is. Just remember, the more aggressive the tread, the more noise they will create while driving on the roads. I personally use a 245/65R17 All Terrain tire on my 03 Chevy Trailblazer made by Goodyear. Want to get new tires before too long because I want a more aggressive tread.

    If you're not getting free flat repair or rebalance rotation you're not saving money
