You idiot cats and dogs are spayed and neutered for their well being unless they're being used for breeding. But most importantly so they don't overpopulate and have health problems later on in life. And they're ALWAYS under sedation and given pain killers afterwards NOT farm animals you douchebag!!
Erika M. So? Cats and Dogs feel the effects of being neutered long after the surgery. Plus have you even researched why Bulls are castrated before calling me an idiot? It's birth control plus it protects the female cows from internal bleeding and death.
+tyguyrocks Hold up...you said cats and dogs feel the effects long after being neutered but your original argument seemed to be that doing this is okay...what's up with that? Is it wrong or right?
It shows, cos you "KNOW" its painless without trying it - if you have balls you can check things out :-D. I saw just yesterday video wher they explained that anmal is in huge pain for days
First of all, u can tell that procedure is painless if not close to painless, the cow is in full conscious state and u don't see it kicking, struggling or screaming in pain do u? Secondly, there is no pill that can sterilize a human or an animal permanently (the effect is only temporary so you have to keep feeding them like daily routine), if drugs with such strong effect do exist, it would probably do more harm to the body than physical procedures. Take abortion for example, many countries ban the use of drugs that induce abortion but they do allow such surgical operations, which may seems more invasive but it is safer than messing your body with chemicals. And you're welcome
1:50 This makes sense. If you can't send sperm to females, there is no point in fighting over them. Competition takes place when more than one male wants the same female, which makes them aggressive. Female guarding also encourages aggression.
All these comments about animal cruelty and castrating being inhumane, you are all more than likely city slickers who have never worked on a farm and have no idea what you are talking about. I have seen castration done on several types of farm animals with both cutting and banding. Trust me when I say banding is the best way to go. It is the safest and most painless way to do it. The band is so tight that all the cow feels is a pinch and then circulation is cut off and everything is numb. The testicles will slowly die and fall off and there is a much lower risk of infection.
***** Maybe because Mike either saw it done or did it wrong. Or he has ulterior motives. I rather suspect the latter, if he really said that. Seriously, cows are very tough animals. Brandi is right. And trying to apply human pain thresholds to cattle is non-sense. It's a non-sequitur. I have banded calves many times. Never have they stumbled around, let alone shown any signs of distress as you cite above.
+Brandi Mathis The UK vets authority says that banding on cows and sheep shows that the animals do experience distress and pain for several days. This method is used because it is CHEAP. Like most things in farming its the bottom line. To employ a vet to do this the pain free way would cost money - so this method was invented and a lot of SPIN painted over the whole procedure to tell everyone its "the best way" and "painless" etc etc... just to make sure farmers could keep costs low. THEY do lie to us and THEY always have.

We raise animals to be food and companions. I love animals and hate seeing them in pain but I also understand we need a varied diet. The animals are clearly well looked after and the animal didn't even flinch during the castration. I'm disappointed to see other animal lovers angry about we'll looked after animals. Focus on the people actually neglecting their animals as this animal is at optimal health, clean and receiving great vet care. I'd source this kind of farm for animal proteins any time for my family. lol lol How is this any different than spaying or neutering a dog or cat? Bulls are dangerous on a farm. They are extremely aggressive and could end up killing other males and injuring calves and females. It's called responsible breeding. Most cattle farms only keep one or two Bulls at a safe distance, upwind in their own pastures and away from females. If you've never seen a bull go bonkers around a cow in season, you have no idea how dangerous they become. That's a young bull... now imagine him two years old an a couple thousand pounds going after a little female that size? And heaven help anyone or anything that gets in his way.
Imagine this being done to you after earth gets inaveded by aliens And aliens decide humans are the perfect kind of cattle for them and very nutritional to them Well doesn't sound like a great idea doesn't it So where are the animal rights activists now?
Sorry, banding balls is not yet a category in the Guinness book of world records. You can get in touch with them to see if they'll put it in though. By the way, how long does it take you to slap a band around their ballsacs? :)

+J Smith Yeah just keep telling yourself that. Infact its fully known 100% to cause distress and pain with bands but its cheap. As the Royal College of Vet Surgeons in the UK... theyve been saying it should be banned for a while now.
+Matthew Williams say what you want, but the vet we use bands for us. actually, if it was to save money, the old fashioned way is cheaper. it uses a knife. and I have seen cattle eat right after they have been cut too. seriously, anyone who knows anything about cows knows that the first thing to go when in distress is their appetite.
+J Smith oh, and by the way, nothing is fully known 100%. veterinary science doesn't have a lock on certainty.
Surprisingly it was easy to watch 😅
And the bull was like"WTF just happened !!!"
Lol if u r doing this for birth comtrop then do it to humans first
lol lol How is this any different than spaying or neutering a dog or cat? Bulls are dangerous on a farm. They are extremely aggressive and could end up killing other males and injuring calves and females. It's called responsible breeding. Most cattle farms only keep one or two Bulls at a safe distance, upwind in their own pastures and away from females. If you've never seen a bull go bonkers around a cow in season, you have no idea how dangerous they become. That's a young bull... now imagine him two years old an a couple thousand pounds going after a little female that size? And heaven help anyone or anything that gets in his way.
lol lol condoms
lol lol it’s not for birth control. It’s so the meat tastes better when the steer is slaughtered.
Okay, they do this so the bulls can’t breed with their own mothers and sisters. Inbreeding is bad folks!
who said did this to human should start with themselves as an example.
Imagine this being done to you after earth gets inaveded by aliens
And aliens decide humans are the perfect kind of cattle for them and very nutritional to them
Well doesn't sound like a great idea doesn't it
So where are the animal rights activists now?
Humans do not contain nearly as much as other kinds of meat...
Sai Mahidhar it didn't bother the cow so shut up
If aliens ever invade and start castrating every guy, i'm just going to do the best thing and blow a nice clean bullet hole through my skull
Nerp Exactly
Nerp why through yours
I know, I'm late for the comment, but PLEASE next time try it on yourself.
Yours genes are more primed for it.
E
margarita lutteral you’re very late
There is a difference between animal loving and stupidity.
remember people, this is just part of what it takes for Mcdonald's to be so cheap
Is there any kind of world record time for doing this my husband can do it in under ten seconds and we aren't able to find anything on it?
Sorry, banding balls is not yet a category in the Guinness book of world records. You can get in touch with them to see if they'll put it in though.
By the way, how long does it take you to slap a band around their ballsacs? :)
