I rode 12 hours this past Saturday to upstate Pennsylvania early morning through cold mountains. Starting out the ride, it was 40 degrees, which feels like 30 when riding. A friend told me to get the Axial Block undergarments, and boy am I grateful she told me! I got them at a local Revzilla store in Philadelphia the day before our ride. These Axial garments are so incredibly soft against the skin and do an excellent job at keeping your body heat inside and block the wind. I bought the pants, shirt, booties, head/neck cover, and gloves. The gloves go under your normal riding gloves, and booties go under your socks. I'm telling ya, I did not need heated gear. Because these garments really do their job! And they are not crazy expensive. Each piece is about $45. The smaller pieces are much less. Axial makes a Base undergarment and a Block undergarment. Get the Block. Truly awesome stuff.

I left the factory wire in place and used an extension harness. It works perfectly. HD could of made them just a tad longer tho.

I would have just purchased extensions for the heated gear wiring. Solves several issues including the potential to mess up the OEM wires. But hey, what do I know as I am not an influencer
