I love roses, but never wanted to commit to caring for them. I, recently, was gifted a small rose Bush from my, elderly, aunt, and, I want to make her proud, by caring for her gift to me. Your video was VERY helpful. Thank you.

Really great video. This was a nice way to put everything in a nutshell for me to understand/remember.
PS. Wanted to remind people to make sure you don't use a flame around alcohol, it could easily cause a fire/serious injuries to you.

I learned about dead heading today ... after wondering why my blooms dropped and dried out.. I felt so sad doing it but after a good soaking and a good 6 hours of sunbathing the plant just LOOKED better

Millie was a blue tic Beagle (beagle x foxhound) and she was my 1st dog. I grew up with cats.
I came home from work and there's this cuteness of a puppy tied to my apt door. I call my bro, yeah he left her for me.
Long story short, I told my bro I'd keep for two weeks. That was in April 15th (tax day. I remember that bcse she was were my tax check went to get her chipped n fixed in the same week)

Thank you for sharing all the information I needed to know, I appreciate it. I do have one question, nothing to do about roses I thought maybe you could help me with. I live in Texas. Normally we get very little rain , some in april but hardly any in May. This year it rained practically the whole month of May. My oleander, which I've had for over 20 years, continue to have yellow leaves. I pick them off when I see them, it's hard though because it is so thick and big. Can you tell me what causes the leaves to turn yellow? I haven't fertilized or fed it anything. Any help you could give me would certainly be appreciated. Thank you, Linda from Texas.

How about some tweezers to make the mulch removal process even more laborious? Smh. Get a good leaf blower or small compressor and speed things up 100x...

She was miserable for about a week n a half, but those 2wks of a 'trial run', turned into over 6yrs until the house fire took her.
The longest two weeks I've ever seen.
