This Wendy situation also shines a light on the lack of community that we have these days. With the loneliness pandemic of our generation, we need to be more united and keeping in mind that we will need support in our old age
This is alarming because Black folks in the US have had community through very tough times and despite being separated in many different ways. The decline of community togetherness is taking away from our culture overall and hurting the most at-risk individuals.

The don lemon interview was EYE OPENING. She could’ve passed with the Breakfast Club but that don lemon…nah. There’s something wrong, but the question should be about if the bank should have power to do this? That feels too much like stripping away her rights and she’s not comfortable wherever they have.
I said that as well. If nothing is wrong with her what the hell did we see on her documentary? That moment with blac Chyna and her asking what’s Oscar’s like that all looked like dementia to me
I think she deserves to be closer to her family and adjustments made. Her conservator isnt A-1. She could have her own little apartment in a facility so that she feels independent--while being heavily monitored.
If they wanted too don't you think they would have before professionals stepped in? I think they lying and acting like they care because she got that phone that can only dial out and they don't want to look bad.
I do fear for Wendy over who exactly is caring for her, but I don’t know that I would trust everyone in her family. Given that the courts are already involved, it would make sense that a judge look into Wendy’s personal relationships 5 years to a decade or so before her dementia diagnosis to determine who Wendy trusted most to care for her. But I would automatically count out Kelvin and Kevin Jr (her ex-husband and son) given their most recent actions. I would also make sure she had mandatory wellness checks to supervise her health in anyone’s care. And have the courts invoke a limit to her spending that doesn’t surpass a fraction of what she was spending prior to her health decline.

It seems like Wendy was financially taken advantage of by her ex husband and potentially her son. I think their actions are the reason a professional guardian was even considered. Now she's being abused in a whole host if other ways by this guardian, allegedly. I think there are other family members that could probably take better care of her.
All of this, is Kevin Jr's fault. I understand that is her child. But he is responsible, for this, he got this snowball rolling . I find it very telling, that her Son isn't going on this press tour .
I’m a nurse in long term care. I work on the dementia unit. I literally said she sounds like one of my patients who accuse me of holding them captive everyday. Unfortunately it’s the circle of life.
Yes! I work at a restaurant in a building with a lot of elderly residents. Some have early stage dementia or Alzheimer’s and baby, it has been a learning experience. One day they love me and the next, I’m a liar and disrespectful and the chef is poisoning their food. Took me a few tries to get it together and learn how to manage the situations that pop up. These folks are fairly wealthy and the ones further along in the disease have aids and 24hr nurses. They are lucky that they can afford at home healthcare. I don’t understand why Wendy couldn’t get the same type of care.
Justin, I've been subscribed to you for a min. I sometimes agree, sometimes I don't. And other times I sit and learn. But tuhday you speaking truth! I feel the same way. I think there should be a change in the conservator at minimum. I don't think she needs the consevatorship, but that's if the family is truly dedicated to supporting her. Just not sure if they are as a whole unfortunately.
THANK YOU! I heard the whole interview and not just bits and clips and my first thought was-she's 75% well. The people who are screaming FREE WENDY only want her back in that chair, even the niece i don't trust! I said: How are ya forgetting how this lady family played in her face? everyone is fighting to get custody of her so they can USE HER! they are screaming she's fine she's fine but she's getting better and not 100% fine! everyone has alternative motive and it's so clear. Yes, I don't think she deserves to be where she at but i don't think the person who has guardianship over her is bad, if anything i think they're doing the best they can because I've noticed an improvement.
I am so happy that you're having this conversation with the general public because I have been wanting to make a video about this for the longest time. It is very scary how quickly people are ready to give-away their own rights under the guise of spiting someone else. People are so ready to wish-'the worst'-upon people who do bad things that they don't understand how easy they're making it for the same things to be done to them without even the cause that leads them to advocate for their enactment against others. o9:19min.s - I hate to say that you seem to be correct here. 11:51min.s - That's the question! 14:14min.s - This is why you have a will.
I think the reason Wendy is cognitive is because she is in a facility that monitors her visitors and has probibited her drinking. Maybe Wendy shouldn't be in New York and away from her family, but Wendy Williams should not be free to live her life free of conservatorship. The family is not being totally honest and neither are the fans. I listened to Wendy during that Breakfast Club interview. You can tell Wendy is struggling. Wendy is not incapacitated, but there is a decline. We must note that dementia is a declining state and not the same as Alzheimer's. Some days Wendy will be very cognitive and some days she will not. Maybe this conservator may not be the one to manage Wendy, but Wendy definitely can't.
I work in the legal arena, if she can't see her family, then the conservativeship exists to protect her from her family or protect her family from her harming them
I said the same thing about Wendy. She isn't doing well. Those years of drugs and stress can make you disabled. I agree that a lot of people want her back on tv for the wrong reasons. She needs care and still have some type of agency. Wendy being on day time tv at this moment is a no go. Dementia doesn't work that way.
Her family should have the rights, like she asked, with guidelines. Not a stranger. That I Care For You movie had all of the evidence on how this crime happens worldwide.
No they wouldn’t lol. They would sit and laugh and be like “the poors are taking care of it.” If they wanted to give to her they would’ve but they don’t like her because of her show
At the end of the day your bank should not hold your bank statements hostage even if they lock your account there should be access. Allowing this case to go unchallenged sets a bad precedence in court for banks to put anyone they want in a conservatorship.
Hey Justin! Im a home care aid and you wouldn't believe the people I have worked with, And for the most part its the families that be the main problem, When you work for elderly or patients in hospice you already know what your going to be dealing with for the most part. The families of these people sometimes want to be neglectful and dont help with their love ones or they want you to be a maid for them. Which is not apart of homecare. I pray for patients that have to deal with being sick and dealing with the in and outs of everyday life.
You on to something when it comes to these celebrities going through WHATEVERR and then asking for our pocket change. Chileeeeee what is going on like you said 🔥🔥🔥
I really think Justin is in to something as far as other celebrities being accountable financially in this situation. People give Wendy a lot of credit for NY radio and they’ll say they wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for her. The Breakfast Club and Power 105 should get together with the other radio stations in NYC or even in the tri-state area and throw a gala or something for Wendy. They can make it their mission to make sure she is okay. Plus, she loved Howard Stern so much and Joan Rivers, Howard and Joan’s daughter should participate, too! The Little Caesar’s CEO or executive that took care of Rosa Parks’s rent towards the end of her life is an example of how it could and should look.
I think the issue is that Wendy is so polarizing that I’m not sure a gala would be successful financially. There are a lot of people who don’t care for her and see her resulting downfall as a type of karma. If they threw a fundraiser I feel it would have to be funded majority from her real friends and they don’t have it like that
“Take her off speaker phone and put the AirPod in” funny but facts. I listened to the interview and that was my thought as well. How did it become up to us to save her and fund it?
I think we all know she isn’t 100% but having a conservatorship isn’t needed . A caretaker and healthy family yes , people need to also ask themselves when it comes to celebrities why is it mainly rich women that end with one?
I have to say, when I heard she did an interview with breakfast club, I was happy to think she was back. When I heard that breakfast club interview, I couldnt continue 😫. I was getting second hand embarrassment from it, becuse one, why would they have her on the phone in the first place? She was not the wendy we know. Its like both sides are doing Wendy wrong. I wish things could have turned out for the better with Wendy having a big comeback, but at this point, I think she just need prayers 🙏🏾.
I was waiting on someone to finally be honest about this. I felt like I was one of the few that noticed she did NOT sound ok. Even though I am a nurse, I thought this would be obvious to more people.
While I do think she needs a guardian I don’t agree with how it was done for her. Seems like the courts just let a complete stranger take over her life, her family should have the option to vet a credible guardian that she and they trust

I hope those you come across have an easier transition into their new reality with your assistance
@@MsZandiX Wendy is the exception in my opinion. I say this because of her earning power, because of her influence and looking further into her case without seeming presumptuous , because her disability came a while after she established herself.
@@ezaserrano4677 Noted. But I meant more regarding your scenario of receivong familial love and support as opposed to gross exploitation, hence my mentioning the $1100 thing. I've never been disabled and have limited experience with disabled people outside of a deceased friend and my two nephews now, who are a serious challenge, but I follow enough on IG to be of the belief that most disabled people don't receive much support, but I of course stand corrected

I’m dealing with an aunt with dementia and it’s painful and frustrating to watch.
Also, I agree 💯 that we should not be funding these celebrities. Wendy probably has $30k worth of Chanel in her storage. She better have a yard sale. And Harvey can wipe his tookas with $30k. He can get that
🤣Your comment is the funny truth.
The way she kept interrupting and saying "Excuse me" was unusual.
Also, that GoFundMe situation is crazy
I don’t know how people think she sounded coherent, I think they were muting her some, to shape the conversation. I think she should be with her family or in a facility close to them, where they can visit.
I do agree these "celebrity friends" should pay for her attorney fees.
Wendy used to always say.."I don't have any celebrity friends"
@@daisyhenry332 Charlemagne is tho..he's advocating for her but he doesn't have any coin to spare to help her? Celebs are just stingy and always look to the working class to fund them, even in their dire need

While I don’t necessarily believe that the conservatorship should be the only option for cognitively impaired folks, especially in cases where they are extremely vulnerable to exploitation (ie. Rich and famous women), i Immediately could tell Wendy was not cognitively where she once was based on the interview. She may not be “all the way gone” but people often don’t realize dementia has stages and starts slowly.
You always keep it real. I click so fast when i see ur upload.
Right we dont got it. We the people is really broke out here.

Just like with Britney Spears, ppl HAVE to stop thinking so emotionally. Wendy is not well. Anybody who knows what a lucid, coherent conversation sounds like knows thats not what she was having. The constant “You know what im saying?” and deferring to her niece. I do believe she should be allowed to choose her caregiver but ppl pretending these folks are self sufficient and need to go back to work are DELUSIONAL.
Britney spears is fin . She was taken advantage of and she's doing fine now. Wendy is another story.
Fine??@@bethanychatman9531
Britney was on drugs she didn’t need for years. That would mess anyone up
I think we know that but, the people in charge are taking advantage of her at weakest.
She does need care but, not from that lady.
Yes to saying the people who think she can return to work are delusional That’s crazy af.
You said exactly what EVERYBODY was thinking 💯💯💯💯
As ALWAYS Justin you hit the nail on the head yet again!
Thank you!! You are the first person I’ve heard say that she didn’t sound coherent on the Breakfast Club and you’re absolutely right she did not. You’re also right that people are pretending to care because they want her back on tv. 🙄 She definitely deserves to be better taken care of and not taken advantage of, but no, she’s not well.
She wants to go see her family, its weird for her not to be able to travel. Sorry but coherent or not, people deserve more respect. That lady is a "CAREER CONSERVATOR" so shes collecting checks and these folks are locked up in a room. That's not okay
@ Oh, I definitely agree that she’s being taken advantage of and it’s weird that she’s being kept away from her family.
The don lemon interview was EYE OPENING. She could’ve passed with the Breakfast Club but that don lemon…nah. There’s something wrong, but the question should be about if the bank should have power to do this? That feels too much like stripping away her rights and she’s not comfortable wherever they have.
If the bk didn't freeze her account she'll probably be penniless by now,
I said that as well.
Yup. But, you don't get to lock ppl up!
This!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 thank you, tired of millionaires and billionaires asking for handouts
“We should be doing this because we care about EVERYBODY!!” That part!
Watch the movie "I Care A lot". In my opinion, let her family take care of her, her sister, her niece etc.
Politics. Wendy has NO family in New York. The conserver-ship made her look unwell at her lowest.
Her family (especially her son) is the reason she's in this mess.
@@nb0009 🎯🎯Those are EXCELLENT points. I agree with you 100%.
Wendy has a bad reputation in the entertainment industry and has pissed off a lot of celebrities or their teams, so they (celebrities/ their teams) might not want to help her out financially.
Exactly.
To be fair...that reputation was a LONG time ago when she first started out in radio AND I believe that's when she was on drugs/alcohol too...js
@@daisyhenry332 Not everybody in the entertainment industry or in life will have the same compassion for her like you have with a reputation like hers. A bad reputation will follow you for years.
@TheAries209 Completely understand...I just knew that was many years ago and a lot of those folks were on her TV show later...including Diddy
They said she had alcohol induced dementia, which is reversible but she does not have the right care & was still drinking on the show. If that's the case she has the chance to come back but has to put the drinking down.
From what I’ve seen in a personal and professional capacity, think it’s too far advanced to be reversible for Wendy. She also has a history of drug use.
Just because it is alcohol induced doesn't mean she is fine when she is sober. The damage is likely permanent
My understanding is it’s not reversible
My Mom suffers from this, I hate when ppl say it's reversible. It can be managed and not drinking helps but the damage is done@bosse1092
Another commenter said that Wendy’s sister offered to be her conservator but would ban alcohol so Wendy denied choosing her and that’s when the courts stepped in to appoint one cuz she had no other options. If that’s the case she’s not gonna get better if she doesn’t want to stop drinking
Once again, everything is on point!!!! Im not participating in no go fund me . Celebrities need to help each Wendy. Where is the love for Wendy from the ppl who make millions smh.
Which people??? The ones she used to gossip about?
@@filmadcamp1512Right lol! Wendy has no celebrity friends and she’s always said on her show that she can’t be friends with celebrities because she knows she will gossip about them.
When you don't get along with family you need good friends..
She doesn't have friends because she made everything about her husband and he alienated her from a lot of people.
@@filmadcamp1512she alienated herself as well..I think Wendy used to get on the phone and talk out her ass to the bank and they called the courts and got this all started
Working in banking you’re taught the type of spending Kevin was doing in the way he was doing it is a red flag. It’s supposed to protect the account holder. Not saying Kevin was wrong and Wendy didn’t really consent but I can see why it would be a way of protecting someone.
They tried to gaslight tf out of us during that interview. Wendy is absolutely not 100% and everyone saying she is delusional! Shes not totally out of it like they claimed..but let’s bffr.
It seems like Wendy was financially taken advantage of by her ex husband and potentially her son. I think their actions are the reason a professional guardian was even considered. Now she's being abused in a whole host if other ways by this guardian, allegedly. I think there are other family members that could probably take better care of her.
100K or ubereats? How is that possible
Easy, ordering three times a day at various restaurant. The restaurant probably weren’t fast food joints either.
@@Petitedelight87K AND it said he was paying for all his friends too.

I’m so glad you’re honest i always look to you for honesty a lot of ppl don’t like the honest to god truth
Wendy’s waste of an ex-husband is why she’s in this situation. A woman should never give a man 100% of herself.
So this is not her fault ??
Except if the person gives 100% back
“We got afterpay on do not disturb”😂😂😂😂😂😂
But yeah. We are poor. Sorry 💁🏾♀️
I completely agree with everything you said
THIS IS A FAIR ASSESSMENT JUSTIN
16:33 “take her off speakerphone” had me at my desk 🤣🤣🤣
I didn’t know there was a GoFundMe that’s wild
Her son knew better I’m younger than him and I would never do that to my momma
I cried on her documentary and I’m homeless behind inside bank fraud. Welcome to America
How did you become homeless due to insider bank fraud?
@ look up navy federal scam
I work in the legal arena, if she can't see her family, then the conservativeship exists to protect her from her family or protect her family from her harming them
In many states, you have to *surrender your home* if you need a caregiver. Ask me how I know.
I honestly thought I was the only one that thought Ms. Wendy didn't sound like the Wendy Williams we're used to😢
Yesss n Happy Tuesday KoR😀n as usual This is Gonna b Extremely Insightful🎯🔥🔥🔥👍!!!….
You know what's sad, I bet if us low class people started a viral trend of giving to Wendy Williams, the rich class would follow us. 😮💨
That’s a very true statement
No they wouldn’t lol. They would sit and laugh and be like “the poors are taking care of it.” If they wanted to give to her they would’ve but they don’t like her because of her show
Agrée you are always on point and everything is making sense.
At the end of the day your bank should not hold your bank statements hostage even if they lock your account there should be access. Allowing this case to go unchallenged sets a bad precedence in court for banks to put anyone they want in a conservatorship.
I agree, Wendy needs care and her family needs to sept in, but only if it’s in her best interest!
The Affirm comment took me out😂😂😂
MESSAGE! 😮
I think the issue is that Wendy is so polarizing that I’m not sure a gala would be successful financially. There are a lot of people who don’t care for her and see her resulting downfall as a type of karma. If they threw a fundraiser I feel it would have to be funded majority from her real friends and they don’t have it like that
Her son did that to his mom 😢😢😢
She should be able to be in charge of her caregiver. Maybe her niece
Heavy on the “we ain’t got it.” 🤣🤣
“Take her off speaker phone and put the AirPod in” funny but facts. I listened to the interview and that was my thought as well. How did it become up to us to save her and fund it?
We got to get Wendy out of that “Jail” & back to her family. Its insane how the courts can appoint a person over your life like this😢
How do u know her family was taking care of her? Wasn't she said to be drinking and spending while with them?
"Look, look, look, look, look... you know what I'm sayin'?"

I think we all know she isn’t 100% but having a conservatorship isn’t needed . A caretaker and healthy family yes , people need to also ask themselves when it comes to celebrities why is it mainly rich women that end with one?
I agree! Reality must be a very hard pill for most to swallow today.
