I've been a Mopar fan since university and this car of yours is a fine example of the breed! Love the exhaust note - my brother build a 71 Nova with a BAD attitude 427 and your exhaust note is right up there with his!
hay bud im 63 yrs old, mechanic since i was 10 thats the nicest dart ive ever seen, great job love the color, i had a 68 dart maroon with black vyn top big bad 225 lmao
A strong wind can blow the hood up, hood prop falls and then the hood slams. Happened to my buddy. And the stock hood pins were on cables that were connected down below near the bumper somewhere, like a 'Cuda or Dart factory Hemi car. They work good and look fine. Also the pin big washers on the hood are not stainless but the screws were, so the washers are prone to rusting. These are the problems my friend had on his. Thought I'd share. Looks awesome. Luv it !! Thanx for sharing.
Looking like a Ruby there Joey! Nothing looks better on a Dart but a Hemi hood! Love the sound of that cam and those Meg pipes! Go fast and look good doin' it.
The hood looks excellent 👌...nice even gap all around. Love this Hemi Hood on your car and the 68 Hemi Cudas also. Fiberglass parts always require body work fine tuning and your friend did a great job. GTS badges look very cool 😎 also. The paint finish is perfect 👌
Awesome. So nice. Ever think about cutting the quarter panel wheel wells to get that insane Hemi Dart look? I know it's a careful decision to make but boy it looks good.
I had a 340 68 GTS that ran 12;s but I wan;t to put on the street but the women who originally owned it would not sign the title so i sold it off to someone else. Yours is really nice!
You know that you did it right when they look like they could've come from the manufacturer that way. I've always thought some of the baddest cars I have ever seen - have primer on em'. Yours is the exception the rule. It's getting to be too nice to drive. 😜
Brother, i have grown up with Mopars. Besides being a dang fine looking body style your Dart is one of the finest examples anywhere. That hood is such a natural fit for that body style. In 68 when Mopar put them on their LO23 project it instantly became the iconic look. Thank you for the update brother. She is looking killer, he definitely knocked it out of the park. They are a bear to get as good as yours is. They were never intended to be that perfect. It was strictly a race car. Edit to add, have you put her on the scales since doing the rear end, cage, hood, etc.?
Besides the Shaker hood I had on my 71 Cuda. The hemi hood is the best. And the hemi hood is a better choice for the Dart The LO23 Darts had the hemi hood. Are you kinda hinting about something in the future? 🤔🤔🤔
Great to see you back! Question...If you weren't running the 3" air cleaner, or the carb spacer, how much clearance would you have for the "stock" hood? Running the same heads/intake on my valiant, but using MPFI and a 1000cfm throttle body. Haven't tried the hood yet. How much of an issue am I looking at? Thanks
The super victor intake won’t fit under a stock hood. Back in the day I hand my air gap, Mopar air cleaner (2 3/8 I think) with a bit of drop base, and it was just rubbing
It's about time !! Totally awesome !!! Time to put it in the 10s !!!! You need to go somewhere you get a weekend full of runs !!! 1 or 2 is not nearly enough !!!!! Real sweet bro !!!!!🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
The 68’s are the best looking dart

Great addition and makes the car complete. Very nice attention to detail!!
Looks gorgeous and sounds even better. Great job on the hood.
Hood looks phenomenal!! Man nothing beats the sound of raw HORSEPOWER!!

Lolzzzz thanks bud. Lots more on the channel!
I've said it before, and say it again, that is one FANTASTIC looking car !!! Looking forward to seeing the next video.

These hoods just look so right on these cars! Still leaning that way for my '67! Looks awesome!
I'm a Chevy guy at heart but that one Beautiful Mopar you have there guy , she looks & sounds Awesome ! 👍😁❤

Looks great ! I put the same scoop on my 68 Charger !
Looks great!
The warmer weather can’t get here fast enough….
We’ve got a 1968 Dodge Dart - Slant 6 and a 1970 Camaro RS/SS. They just need a little love ❤
It's one hell of a nice clean race car!!! Killer Street
Looks awesome brother 👍
Awesome. So nice. Ever think about cutting the quarter panel wheel wells to get that insane Hemi Dart look? I know it's a careful decision to make but boy it looks good.
Have thought but I won’t do that, on this car any how lol

Beautiful! Can't wait to see it at the strip again 👍
Your Dart is coming along nice! Keep up the great work. Sharp as a tack!
Looks good! Good job Frank! A hair light on the colour match but pretty dam good for a colour like that with out blending.
As usual with your work, clean and proper.
That's definitely one of the best looking best fitting fiberglass hoods I've ever seen, I sure hope it doesn't crack around the scoop
Ya only time will tell on that. Raceday. Can always be repaired
The underneath of the hood looks just as good as the top.
Looks fantastic! Another ✨shiny Fast Mopar! Looking forward to more videos. 🦶🏾

Looks great good to see you back
Love the Doghouse. I want one for our 2012 Challenger. Wife says , no. Maybe Leg pipes?
Are you guys getting a drag strip on the island ? if not, hope to see you at Mission Raceway this year.
It looks awesome dude, nicest DARTO on the net for sure. Enjoy it
Looks awesome! Glad to see a new video, I was wondering where you been!
Great to see you back bro!

Hmmmm ya haven’t re scaled her in a while. I dunno. Will do in spring! Stay tuned!
Looks Awesome, now to try out that tunnel ram you were hinting at a couple seasons ago!
lol
Next year you should enter the Dart in the Sick Week drag n drive down in Florida or Rocky Mountain drag week.
Would love to do a drag and drive. There is one that happens near me “bc drag it challenge” bad timing for this year tho
Good enough for a "race car". That's good enough for a show car man!
Besides the Shaker hood I had on my 71 Cuda.
The hemi hood is the best.
And the hemi hood is a better choice for the Dart
The LO23 Darts had the hemi hood.
Are you kinda hinting about something in the future?
🤔🤔🤔
Man it looks so good mate! 👍🏻
Looks Great!
Looking good
Nice hood, i am currently building a 68 as well... I need to get more content of my 1:1 scale cars on my channel
LOOKS AWESOME BRO. SO WHATS THE GOAL FOR NEW SEASON. 9'S???
Looks fantastic, the question with the close friend with all of the killer big blocks and hemi’s are you leaning big block in this car?
No big block for this car. That motor I showed real quick in this vid thoooo
That is one good lookin' car......

Ok, what have we got there, a dry sump W5?
W8 😎😎😎
Where are you racing this year?
Dunno yet
Way Nifty Man...I like much
Now all you need is a GTS trunk panel
I have one. Lol. I took it off. Like it better this way
How heavy was the stock hood?
Never weighed it. Heavy tho. Internet should tell you
I wouldn’t be posting any pics of your license plate, thieves can track your location
They can tell I’m in bc that’s all. It’s different from in Canada. And they do come by, I got guns and cameras lol
Looks rediculous. I hear banjos looking at it
You look ridiculous.
