Why is that cold start on the choke such a satisfying feeling. First time too, perfection. Oh do excuse me Alex, Joseph seems to have a new Sensible Secondhand Classic Review of an Orange Allegro. Nice 😊
My 1st car was a 1951 Jowett Javelin. My 2nd car was a 1953 Rover P4, 75 in black. My 3 rd car was a 1964 P6, 2000 in 1968 in Wedgwood blue. Drove it from NYC to Tucson, Arizona in 3 days :) Traded it about a year later in San Diego, California for an AMC AMX in "Big Bad Blue"!!! Happy Days.
A very nice Rover P6 2000 SC Automatic you have there. I did notice when the choke control was out the choke warning lamp on the dashboard didn't light up. Have you checked to see if the bulb has gone or the lamp switch on choke control is faulty? Do you still have this car & you take it on longer journeys as well too please?
Hello! Thank you. I use this car daily alongside my Rover P4. The choke warning light on these rovers only comes on when the engine is up to temperature and you still have the choke out, so i rarely see it come on . 😄 . I always put it in before it tells me . I normally travel to London once a month, but not so much since the pandemic.

My ex works rally P6 (formerly 3KUE)was stolen from me, and I have never wanted to look at another one until now. What a beauty!
