This is amazing high value content, thank you! Netflix has a new documentary: "buy now: the shopping conspiracy", also about how everthing is made to not be repairable. Great move to have a youtube version of a repair-café!
A very good video! I feel like work Graeme collided with fish Graeme there. two tips: One note might be that those little remote boxes on the power cord for your lights DEFINITELY aren't water resistant or waterproof and this means humidity is not their friend. That light might be having issues because of the way the wires are routed and because it's on megatank lid where there is that higher localized humidity. Second tip is that if you happen to have some on hand, only speaking about those remote boxes, and you have it opened up.... seal the edge of it around with a little bead of 100% silicone and then clamshell it back together. Give it time to set, then you should have a much better watertightness if you have that recurring issue. Once electronics start to corrode it's very difficult to get that reaction to stop.... it will be cleaned, but it's still "happening" over time while the things mix. Whether it's two metals or water+metal the reaction has started. They do make things to neutralize it and the most common example people deal with here would be cleaning off exploded battery residue.
Lol I just went through this issue with a 3 year old hygger 48 light and it was the power supply so I found one that matched the old one and wham bam my light is good again
Hello, i got the problem with the ciano led lights of the 120 pro. It got 36w led light on it, and is via de power adapter(leddriver) running from 230v input to 30-40 voltage. I had 2 of those leds , the started to blink en go disco style haha.. u cant pull the ledstrip out of it. ( got glued in and covered both sides in epoxy). With 2 led driver adapters i tested them both and still went rave on .. stroboscopic 🤦♂️. It not a typ of led driver u can buy here online . What u find is more on amazone or for furniture in the kitchen.. can it be a capacitator? Or a resistor? It wont light on on a lower voltage led driver. Your tips are welcome 👍🏻
I have a Fluval Aquasky and only one section of LEDs are flickering. It’s not even a year old and the tank hasn’t had water in it for 6 months of that! So I will definitely have a look inside now iv seen this
This was definitely a video that needed to be done. I hope the people who need help with their lights find it. Thanks for sharing Graeme 😊
This is the perfect video for me had a light flickering today thanks
