That snap from "alright take it easy!" to feverishly beating off for a millisecond is so damn funny! I had to rewatch it a bunch of times. Fahim, man, I never miss an upload! So damn funny.
Thank you so much for posting this much content! No other comedian I'm subscribed to releases this much! It's either 2 minutes a month or a vlog. You show 7-10 minutes of content sometimes twice a week!
Fahim, I watched your Afghan Wedding Video as a kid and it's still a classic 🤣🤣🤣. I just wanted to say your progress and your dedication is amazing and I know it will pay off. You've been putting in work and the results are showing but the best is yet to come. Thank you for being an inspiration and thank you for leading by example ❤️🇦🇫
You're killing it Fahim! straight fire e-v-e-r-y upload one thing i wonder about is; (please forgive me i mean well), is like... you don't plug your shit nearly enough imo im not even aware of all tricks of socialmedia and youtube, but i notice how other comedians game the system, with graphics and endbanners, introcards and shit... let alone merch.... like if i knew how to make that shit for you i'd do it for free bro.. like damn, its there for the taking im afraid how this comment may come off.. idk im just pumped to see you reach more people.. especially when i see some comedians with way less output/writingskill than you be getting crazy numbers with the hackiest shit.. anyways. im not trying to make you feel bad, im just giving my 2cents. you can delete this if im being annoying rather than helpfull one love
If you ask me I'd say he's doin fine with all that. Who else pumps out jokes they're working on to RUclips, on a consistent basis like this? (Well I'm sure several but idk) and merch is a toss up I think, some get into it, others don't bother much. Btw I've seen him live before, and he fuckin killed it 😁
@@Unz360 for merch, you need a catch phrase or an inside joke that your audience gets. Fahim is an old school comedian, like the Colin Quinn’s etc where they don’t need to cheapen their talent with cringey merch, which is “so LA”. However, I do want to see Fahim go to NY and spend some time there. I think that’ll take him to the next level and I’m sure he’ll crush the big Apple.
i can see what you mean with it being cringe, but at the same time it's business pure and simple. and if its done tastefully, you might just be tempted to buy some. its not "selling out". artists dont have to adhere to some purist notion of a poor tortured bohemian artist, while others make money off their name. that money is (probably) being made anyway, my thing is: it might as well be the artist making it... others in the creative field do merch and other business ventures for a reason, it gets your name out there while having control over it and your legacy (cf. dave chappelle' namebranded clothes etc ), fans have something extra to support the artist with directly, that doesn't get sipphoned to middlemen and managers and a dozen others. my initial point wasn't really about merch tho, i was more so alluding to the fact that showbusiness besides art has a business side to it! everyone romanticizes doing the road, and not selling out.. but so many comedians never get to leave that lifestyle, can never retire or worse they burnout and change careers. especially now, when everything is viewed as 'content' and you're expected to daily feed the algoritme in order to stay 'relevant'. im high af.. excuse the rambling. Look the main point is this: i m very gratefull for fahim so PLEASE dont get me wrong.. i mean no disrespect with any of this... i m simply invested in his succes and just dont want him to burn out, putting out all this material without it being a springboard to better things. i mean its awesome he chooses to do so, im saying he should get payed for it through views/ads/merch/patrone/ or whatever else and he should be way more famous he should have dozen showdeals waiting for him, etc that was the point i was trying to make, i see other less prolific comics doing insane amounts of views, make money elsewhere (e.g. merch) and reinvest it in their 'content' (podcasts) and i wonder what are they doing that's exceptional that fahim could easily do. only thing i can come up with is they are either marketing geniuses or they have teams of people strategizing these lucrative deals for them.
