I totally agree with you that Amercan general public don't get to see this kind of great productions BTS can create. This is the real show! They get to have only very small portion of time and Amercan awards shows ask them to do certain songs only, I can only guess. They've been wanting to perform ON for a live performancd but last Grammy awards they didn't get to do that. They had to perform Dynamite cuz they were nominated for that song. Some day BTS will perform and show what they can do to western general public so people don't downgrade them.
This was their Epic Performance showcasing Korean Culture Jhope - drum dance, Jimin - fan dance and Jungkook - mask dance plus their wardrobe. Truly, Big Hit/Hybe production worth watching for.
The Fake Love intro and the Idol one are just iconic and legendary ! Jimin get a national prize for his fan dance . MMA 2018 and 2019 are , for me, the most beautiful and amazing award show I have ever seen. I watch them a lot of time, but I'm still mesmerized . Western show have a lot to learn !

Hanboks can be very different colors and its form for males and females was changing a little over the years, and it varied for different social classes. BTS have here modernised version of hanbok, and they kinda made that a trend.

i was just thinking about how i'd love for you to do a mini roadmap for txt, so you know their music before their comeback at the end of may! i think that'd be super fun for you, their concepts are so cool. it's also soooo wild to me that american television still hasn't seen this side of bts, these incredible productions and amazing breakdowns and sets. i have a feeling it's because they're still faaairly new to being considered 'household names' in america so they're biding their time, building up expectations for themselves before going all out. they've made it in korea, they are koreas superstars, so they can go all out for korean performances. what's also wild to me is that american audiences, despite not having seen this side of bts, still consider them to be some of the most dedicated and impressive performers. bangtan haven't reached their peak yet and it's so wow...wow wow wow.....im in awe of them like all the damn TIIIIMMMEEEE GIIIRL fuck

as far as i know hanbok is not any specific type of clothing its just a broad term for traditional korean clothes - all the boys were wearing modernized versions of them (a lot of idols do, jimins from this performance is from the brand leesle and some of the ones from jimmy fallon idol perf too i think). And the performers that accompanied the boys are wearing more historically accurate clothing? i think

Regular hanboks are usually tied closed in the front, a little poofier, as well as other little differences. Also, little note, the fan dance jimin did was traditionally done only by women back in the day! I also wish they could go all out in American award shows like they do in Korea :((( But sadly they have to do what they can with the time given and amount of money they can spend on the production:(
