Nice ride! I just did the Smoky Mountains and Tail Of The Dragon and one session on Blue Ridge Parkway was exactly like this, went through a cloud. It was beautiful!

Fab stuff. Did the Flexen and Arlberg in similar weather in early July.. all part of touring. Half wish I hadn't watched, just want to be there - roll on 20/23.....!!

If you love these kinda roads, id suggest you try the western side of NORWAY, all the way to Nordkapp. It’s your experience of Austria times 100. I’ve lived in Switzerland and trust me Norway is absolutely biker heaven-to die for! Your welcome

I have a previous model XR , never did this type of riding, but I wonder if I would go to first in theze very thight corners, giving the easy shifting with the quickshifter
That's a cool bike, but which one I wonder.
Must admit I'm not a fan of point and squirt switchbacks, especially if you've got to pay €14 for the privilege. Shame about the weather but any day riding a motorbike is a good day! I look forward to the rest of the trip. 👍
The switchbacks probably looked worse on camera, they definitely weren't as sharp as the Stelvio, which is still to come. This was the only bad morning with the weather, the rest of the time the weather was top😎😎

Great video. What gloves are you using looking for recommendations. I did have Rukka Argosaurus but the liners came out.
I used the Rukka Virium in this video. They are a goretex glove but without a Thermo liner. Ideal for warmer temperatures if it was to rain. In the colder months I use the Rukka Thermo G+, again goretex but with a lovely warmer liner👍😎
@@thelikeablerider8800 fell out of love with Rukka. Contacted them about the gloves and they said contact the seller. I can’t because they’ve gone out of business. Poor customer service.
