It does. I'd probably get a smaller one if you're just planning on using it with your camera. Lanparte makes small and cheap LANC buttons. If you're using it with the Ninja Inferno, it needs to be a LancDirector.
hey thanks for the tutorial, can you tell me the name of the adaptor you used to mount the camera shoe mount, which allowed you to have the camera up side down? thanks
Dream Resolution Films I actually didn’t attach anything to the hot shoe, but rather I used a cage which wraps around the camera, with mounting points also on the top. Mine is made by smallrig, but there are a ton out there by different manufacturers.
Seamus OHara I'm pretty sure it would, but I haven't been able to find a cable that fits between the Ninja Inferno and the VideoMic Pro because Atomos uses a weird af connector.
@@walbergrobin is it an XLR? 3 pins inside a circle? You can get an adapter from Rode if it is. It's called the VXLR+. Make sure you get the + version as it supplies phantom power.
Seamus OHara the Ninja Inferno uses a lemo port, so you need their breakout plus the adapter in that case. It would would work but for a setup like this, XLR is quite chunky. If I'd use it for voice overs I'd probably get it, but I only use for the on rig mic for small sfx and similar.
@@walbergrobin oh man I thought the inferno had XLR, I have no clue what Lemo is... You're right though I don't find I need the highest quality audio on the gimbal itself either, usually just record separately when I need it. Nice setup btw looks insanely heavy though. I find my RoninS/GH5/NinjaV is heavy enough. Thinking about getting a steadicam vest even with just this.
Hi Robin great config ! I have a question , what tipy of hdmi cable is ? I have gh5 4K input may i need hight speed cable that can be rotate 90^ to fit on ronin M Can you help me ? Thanks man
The one I have is a micro-hdmi to hdmi cable, as I have the GH4. And the GH5 uses full size HDMI, so it won't work :/ But try looking up HDMI 2.0 on amazon, and you should be able to find something.
I loved seeing what the setup looks like, and 50 minutes prep time? The prep time is definitely worth it though, the footage you showed at the end was amazing.
I have indeed! But I'm not sure it's worth it. I push the Ronin M so much these days with my 50-100 Sigma Art lens, so I'm thinking about upgrading to a Movi or similar..
To much stuff on that rig making it to heavy for shooting a wedding or a short film. The setup looks good but the monitor should be at the top with a field light
Hi Robin, thanks for the nice video, i liked it and joined your subscribers. I have the Ronin and Ninja Inferno myself but i don't have the exact references to buy the cages, rig and grip to connect it all together, could you help me by giving me the full list of material you used on this video please ? Many Thanks.
Hi! This is the gear I used: Aricona HDMI to micro HDMI TARION 11" 360° Articulating Super-Lock Magic Arm 2x SmallRig 25mm Rod Clamp (1870) SMALLRIG Ball Head with Rod Clamp for 25 mm (1878) Smallrig Cold Shoe adapter (1241) SmallRig Panasonic Lumix GH5 Cage (2049) 1 meter 3,5mm extender Gentles Ltd. lancDIRECTOR For the smallrig products, I added the product code at the end, to make sure you get the right version. Hopefully this helps, and ask if you have any questions!
I uploaded an updated version a couple of weeks ago: ruclips.net/video/mK3JyG7C4J8/видео.html
Great video!! Thx for your uploading from japan
Absolutely Love It!
"Basically all of this is pretty shit!" Worth the watch just to hear that lol
your video is brilliant ! Absolutely love your charisma ! Much better than all the other videos on here from others ! :) Very useful!
Thanks for going over your set-up!
For the fact the ninja is heavy, you dont get the screw on the bottom if it messing up from hanging like that?
What clamps are you using?
The BEST setup would involve using the Ronin Grip 😉
The BEST setup actually includes the Movi Pro: ruclips.net/video/mK3JyG7C4J8/видео.html
can we get links to your gear? and does the upside down grip work with heavier cameras, pushing 8lbs like a C300?
i'm most interested in the start stop recording button. will it work . for the gh5s?
It does. I'd probably get a smaller one if you're just planning on using it with your camera. Lanparte makes small and cheap LANC buttons. If you're using it with the Ninja Inferno, it needs to be a LancDirector.
Thanks for the great video.
Nice man cool set up from Australia
What filter are you using on your camera?
I have a Nikon D5500 right now should I upgrade to Sony A6300 or get dji Ronin m
I'd say upgrade to Sony, but that's totally up to your needs!
Does the zoom lens affect the weight of the camera when you have the lens zoomed in or out?
David Diaz barely with the 18-35. But keep in mind that it has internal zoom, that's what I'd recommend for gimbals.
Where do i get the mount for the atmos to connect too the bar

the is nothing on your website
Hey, could I have the name and brand of the lanc controler that goes to the Atomos inferno please ? thanks !
Joaquim Bayle Gentles Ltd LancDirector
Great video man thanks
Wouldn't the pre-amps on the Inferno give you better audio recording than the camera?
Seamus OHara I'm pretty sure it would, but I haven't been able to find a cable that fits between the Ninja Inferno and the VideoMic Pro because Atomos uses a weird af connector.
Or then I'm just dumb, either way

+Julian Zehr *15 minutes :)
Oh. Did I hear it wrong? It sure sounded like 50 minutes at 9:32
Julian Zehr 99% sure i said it wrong haha
okay cool :) So 15 minutes it is.
Loved that last sequence. Each shot was super well done. :)
Thanks man!
@@walbergrobin Great tutorial but without list of items :( Especially how did you made these adapters
Hello. How do I find that clamp for the microphone?
Get these 2:
SmallRig 25mm Rod Clamp (1870)
&
Smallrig Cold Shoe adapter (1241)
with mounting camera inside down, are you able to use in briefcase mode?
Yes, but the footage will be upside down I'm afraid.
Do you use a filter box?
what are you using for the start/stop record controller?
It's a Gentles Ltd. LancDirector!
are you using Ronin brand clamps for your monitor and mic? or another brand?
They're called SmallRig 25mm Rod Clamp (Part 1870).
Looks awesome, how heavy is it?
About 5-6kg I'd say. Not sure though :p
I thought your name was Ronin Walberg at first lol
Why is your Camera upside down?
Watch the video. 4:08
Great idea! Have you ever thought about getting the rig?
I have indeed! But I'm not sure it's worth it. I push the Ronin M so much these days with my 50-100 Sigma Art lens, so I'm thinking about upgrading to a Movi or similar..
Use an easyrig... one-hand camera adjustment problem solved

DG Filming Production I’ve shot a lot of weddings with this rig :)
Robin Walberg hey Robin was it hard to do and how heavy is it? How long was the wedding?

man turn your grips upside! and put all that gear on the main TUBE... you will have more controll
But the best part about this setup is being able to put it down without the stand! If I turn the grips that won't be possible.
nice but crazy heavy !
Gh5 mate, upgrade.
Ferhan Khan Photography I upgraded to the Gh5s mate.
