Well, this never ever happens with me - I saw your video pop up on my suggestions in my feed, watched it, was immediately hooked and followed all the links I could. I'm now subscribed to your RUclips channel and newsletter and have a note in my calendar to join Flowermore tomorrow! Your video spoke directly to me!! 🌼🪻🌺🏵💐
I love this arrangement. The colors are soft and pretty. I like how you put the marigolds lower in the arrangement so they don't over take the other soft color flowers.
I love using marigolds but they can be overpowering. Layering them under other flowers and more of a background color is a good trick for using them with out them feeling overwhelming.
I just tried to join FlowerMore, but I can't create an account through the link you gave. Excellent video! I just brought home some dahlias tonight and was wondering what the tricks were to use them in an arrangement...and there you were with everything I needed to know!
Thanks so much for your note! FlowerMore is launching Monday, September 9th at 9am! WOO HOO! This link will have a sign up form on it that day! flowermore.mn.co/ So glad the video helped! When you join next week, you can add your design to the challenge! So excited!
This video is SPECTACULAR Ellen. I've been to many floral workshops and dahlias are beloved but I've really struggled with working with them to make an arrangement. They have been some of the hardest flowers for me to work with. I am now inspired and feel like I can feel a little more confident with working with them THANK YOU!
@@ellenfrostflowers I haven't directly. I work with artificial flowers (creating wedding decor) but love watching fresh-flower videos like yours for inspiration. I have some large silk French roses, which I always thought only suitable for my wedding backdrops or a large arrangement... but this video with your huge dahlias was a great example of how to design with large flowers in even a regular sized container. Thank you 🙏😍
Hooray for flower frogs! They're so fun to use in design. The Founding Members offer for FlowerMore will be available to all of my newsletter subscribers starting Monday, September 9, 2024 and will run for 5 days. You can subscribe to my newsletter here. www.ellenfrost.com/join-now I hope you'll join!
Gorgeous!
Thanks so much!
Love these colors! I learned a great deal from this video. Thank you!
I'm so glad you found it helpful! Thanks so much for watching!

Tina! this the best note! thank you for watching and reading and being as excited as I am about FlowerMore! So excited!
Love the rudbeckia addition. I have zinnias but not dahlias. This was fun to watch and learn. Thanks
Thanks for the note! You can make a similar arrangement with zinnias. they have the same size and shape as dahlias. Let me know if you give it a try!

I love Henry...but I Loved the arrangement with out Henry. The classic look is 😍
I couldn't decide! haha!
what do you do about adding clean water to these arrangements? Do you try to drain them completely and refill with fresh water? Beautiful
In this case, I would just be adding fresh water everyday. Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!
Did you squeeze the wire together against the stem?
I made a a ball of chicken wire and smooshed it inside the vase. I put the stems through the holes in the chicken wire.
Thanks for the inspiring video! I just bought 3 floral frogs at an auction today!
Is there a cost to join?
Thanks, Anne
