Is it possible to change the size of a content center parts using ilogic ?
Suppose i have a piping assembly of 8" flange, fitting, pipe..etc, if my pipe size is the variable and if i change the pipe size to 6" then all the content center items like flanges, fitting...etc should get change to 6"
hoe can i make this possible ?

It is possible, however it depends on how you placed those Content Center parts. When you placed the flanges, fittings, etc from the Content Center, if you placed them as Custom, then you can treat those parts just like any other part. You can write a rule that manipulates their parameters. What is a more likely scenario is that you placed those parts as Standard components. If that is the case, you will want to make sure that you have used Content Center to generate all the sizes of flanges and fittings you are likely to use in the different variations. For example, if you indent to use a 6", 8", and 10" flange, you will need to make sure that you have used Content Center to generate those parts. Once you have done that, you can use the Replace snippet (under Components) to perform a component replace. Here is the snippet: Component.Replace("Part1:1", "OtherPartfilename.ipt", True) You state the browser node name of the part to replace, then the file name of the part to replace with. Since the flanges or fittings should be in the same Content Center Files folder, then stating the file name, without the path, should be sufficent. The True statement at the end will perform a Replace All. If you state False at the end, it will only replace the stated occurrence.
If is still unclear, I can record a screen capture of this and post that as well.

Sorry about that. I just copied from a completed/test of the rule. It just saved me from having to type the line out during the video. Hope that helps.
