Thanks for comparing the i230 and Blueprint S in one video. Every other review of the Blueprint TALK about how it would blend/ compare to the i230, but you're the only one to hit them both in the same video.
@@tourqualitygolf I'll be on the look out for that. I'm getting fitted for irons this year and the blend-ability of the 3 clubs is really interesting and new for PING, I believe.
@@tourqualitygolfthe benefit being feedback? I was fitted into i230 recently in both standard and 1 inch over standard as the two fitters couldn’t agree.. $600 in and I’m none the wiser.. regardless it could be a blessing in disguise as I’d be interested in hitting the blueprint S. Great looking irons.
It depends on the makeup of your handicap, you could be only like a 2-3 in irons but like a 19 with driver (just an example). I play off 12 as well and I was recently fitted into a set of Blueprint S's, they were the clear winner for me. I was actually really blown away by the forgiveness of these clubs. I will take some yards shorter rather than a drop on off centered strikes.
Depends on why you’re a 12. Are you just blasting balls OB and 3 putting? I’d say the average 12 would not benefit from moving to the Blueprint S from the i210 unless they had exceptional swing speed.
How would you compare the Blueprint S to the T100, T150, Miz 223, and Ping i230 If i were to guess I would rank them this way least forgiving to most: T100 Blueprint S T150 or Miz 223 I230 Currently game the Miz 223s, but looking for a little better turf interaction. The miz can get a bit diggy. Option 1: Lateral move to T150 Option 2: Move up to the Blueprint S. Maybe combo with i230 I like the turf interaction of Ping and Titleist. Just not sure where to go. Thoughts. Around a 10-12 hcp. Distance control is most important. Thoughts?
I play i210s, I looked at the i230s when the came out and in my hands they were not as good as the i210s, spin was a bit lower and I felt I had less control. The Blueprint S excited me, loved the look, the fact it was forged rather than cast. Now that I have seen the head to head numbers I am even more excited - the Blueprint S has a bit more spin and control than the i230, so for me that makes it a like for like replacement for i210s

Were going to be posting the blueprint t review sometime soon as well.

Agreed!
The comparison everyone actually wants!
Thanks for watching!
I would love to see the BPS vs the MP 243 I’ve hit both there both very nice feel goes Mizuno accuracy I feel is ping. Love to you your review
Noted!
Awesome review guys!!!
Thanks so much for watching!
Now that the Blueprint S is here, I wish the i240 will go back to larger long irons like in the i210.
I'm sure they will. The i230 wasn't as well accepted on tour.
Solid review guys.
Thank you!
What handicap range would you say the blueprint s is suited for? Currently playing off 12 and play the i210s but interested in the blueprint s
I feel like you could play the blueprint s with just a minimal loss in forgiveness.

First time watching your videos. Great review guys and very informative

If i were to guess I would rank them this way least forgiving to most:
T100
Blueprint S
T150 or Miz 223
I230
Currently game the Miz 223s, but looking for a little better turf interaction. The miz can get a bit diggy.

Your best best is going to be goin through a comprehensive fitting. Your list is pretty accurate i would say. the blueprint s is really really good.
Nice looking swing there!
Thanks 👍
Nice video. Where is the promised follow up?
How does the blueprint s compare to the i59 size wise and forgiveness?
The i59 is a bigger more forgiving iron imo.
@@tourqualitygolf would’ve figured the other way around. Thanks

It's just a solid iron overall. I want more time with it but so far I'm impressed.
You calling Hatton an 8-10 handicapper ???
I was thinking the same. They better call Tyrell and let him know.
what loft spec on the S ?
Everything is standard.
So you swung so fast on the i230 you could not find the face. And you also claim a 1.44 smash on a blueprint s.
