    Mate you nailed it in the fist 1 minute. When you said. I feel like it’s the kind of place you dream of.

    Hey guys, thanks for another great vid.
    Even though the cave was a non-event, you wont forget how brave you all were facing those killer bees! Kaylee & Owen are unbelievably brave!
    I hear your frustration about the caravan booking, when the park wasn't anywhere near capacity 😮
    Thanks again. Enjoy the week ahead. Safe travels and catch you guys next week ❤

    Hey guys! 🏕️ pretty cool adventures this week 👏 the off-grid camping at Sandy Cape looked awesome, shame about the non-event cave exploration but at least it turned out to be a bit of a thriller due to the bees, so glad no one got stung 😗 (however, we might skip this one), the Pinnacles visit looked like an amazing thing to experience (loved the RUclips trickery!) 👏 the lobster shack was a nice treat - a delicious bonus! 🦞 All in all another great vlog Brett 🇦🇺 Stay safe and see you guys next week 👍 kind regards Corrie

      Thanks Corrie. Sandy Cape is great and worth a visit if your willing to do some 4x4ing to get to the better sites. Definitely skip the caves though, haha.
      Thanks again for watching and commenting.

    another comment for 1st time caravaner. A discussion of having a Campervan or the setup you have what is better?

    • @SvedosTrippin
      @SvedosTrippin  11 месяцев назад

      I don't have experience with a campervan so this is from an outsiders perspective.
      A campervan will probably be more fuel efficient and maybe easier to park and pack up to move on.
      But if you want to go and explore or see things you have to take it with you, which means you might loose your camp, you have to pack and it would be harder to find parks and explore in (you wouldn't want to do any off roading or drive on beaches).
      I think it would come down to the style of travel you want to do, they both have pros and cons.

    Yes you are right if you go south of Perth try the blue crabs there better and you can catch them there is a size limit and how many you can catch

    The moray sauce would have “ruined” the crayfish. Next time try it with a little white wine vinegar splashed on, lightly seasoned with salt & pepper and/ or with a home made seafood sauce.

    I don’t understand why you don’t let your tyres down I live South of Perth and my 4wd is down to 20 psi all the time
    unless I’m of to Perth for a bit of shopping

      its just effort, we are always driving on a highway so don't have the luxury of just leaving them down. As for the air compressor I will try and show it in more detail next time we use it on a filming day. And yes I would rate blue swimmers much higher than the crays.

      @SvedosTrippin  Год назад +1

      sometimes we may forget to push them in, but we usually notice and push them in after the first drive with out the van on.

    Met you guys at Carnarvon. But been following your vid before we started our trip back in Feb. anyway yea i dont like CP at all. For our next lap we will try not going CP at all.. they are expansive for what you get and I cant believe they are charging $10 per kids. Well most of them anyway. Ripoff

    For the kind of money that caravan parks charge compared to the effort they have to put into catering for each van onsite, it's ridiculous that they are not more flexible.
    More people should vote with their money and boycott caravan parks as much as possible........which I know that you actually do anyway.
    Caravan parks have to put in very little effort compared to hotels as an example, yet they charge at least 35% and in many cases 50% of what a hotel room would cost.

    • @SvedosTrippin
      @SvedosTrippin  Год назад +1

      yeah, but what are ya gunna do... We have come across a few places that put in more effort and try to offer better value for money, and they are always busier and have better ratings. Unfortunately though, ppl still keep showing up to the poor performing places so nothing changes...

  • @danielraaen4367
    @danielraaen4367 Год назад

    If u think about it it makes it easier for them to maintain the park, if it was your business you would do the same.

    • @SvedosTrippin

      If I were running a park and a customer asked to move their booking by 1 day. If the park was not at capacity (which in this case it clearly was not) I would allow them to move the booking. The park gets the same amount of money either way, with the small inconvenience of moving the booking in the system they are using. In exchange, the C.P improves the customers satisfaction. The issue with C.P's in my opinion is they act like they have you over a Barrel and they can do what ever they want and they do not care about customer satisfaction (generally speaking of course).
