Wow Rachel!!! This is well-thought out!!! Kudos to you!!! I agree 💯 to all of your advice. I came to Canada because I know my purpose. I endured loneliness, homesickness, stress and anxiety of living in a foreign country. Doing research really helps talaga, it saves everyone from frauds and builds realistic approach to the process. We should apply critical thinking when it comes to this talaga. Gosh!! You are so empowering!! Girl yo slay!!!
    ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Btw to viewers, PinoyCare does not have POAE license, i did more research about this agency, they dont have physical office, their CEO throws ad hominems instead of answering the complaints professionally. (Which is a red-flag) They hire celebrities and photoshop fake awards to make their company look legit.
They have been exposed by Raffy Tulfo but I still don't understand how they're able to slip through the cracks. They can still operate despite being exposed. Nothing has been justified.
I really agree that It's really important that your money is three times, four times even the actual budget because Canada is very expensive. Specially Toronto and Vancouver, they are 5x more expensive than my area.
So far, you're one of the most realistic yt creators i've been following; let's face it, some yt creators take advantage and hype their viewers to something that is not feasible. Hindi maganda yan. You really inspire me to work hard and achieve my dreams.
    ✨💕✨💕✨💕✨💕✨💕✨💕✨💕
I'm seeing a hate comment but don't be demotivated my dear, the good ones outweigh the bad ones.
    ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Please dont ever stop empowering people who want to reach their dreams. You're life changing. Good luck with your PR application 💕✨

      Hi South Park Fan,
Let me begin with WOW what an informative comment that you have left me. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your comment.
Regarding Pinoycare, I agree. Agencies like this operate with greed and no regard for the Canadian immigration laws. Canadian immigration laws clearly state that it is illegal for unauthorized representatives to charge a fee (i.e. agencies). The reason why Canada distinguishes authorized representatives (immigration lawyers) and agents, is to protect Canadian immigration.
Before I started my channel, I realized people were receiving a lot of misinformation from other content creators or from other people. I wanted to give a more balanced or accurate approach when it comes to immigration.
I honestly appreciate your contribution to my channel. I noticed that you were a TikTok follower and now you are a RUclips subscriber. It all started because a friend of yours got scammed by Pinoy Care. We had a conversation and we shared a common goal. You have no idea how much your support means to me☺😇🙏. Thank you SOOOOOOOO MUCH 🙃🙃😊😀

You summed it up well! This episode is GOLD!
Agree on everything you mentioned especially the misconception on lawyers being expensive. My wife and I availed the service of an immigration lawyer based in Toronto when we applied through the Express Entry route and we were surprised how their service fee was relatively cheaper compared to the agencies in the Philippines and I even compared sheets with a couple of friends who did their application through an agency in Dubai. It was 3x cheaper with the credibility of being an actual immigration lawyer in Canada.
As for your 1st advice, I agree 200%! There are various pathways and people should do their research and choose which pathway is best suited for them. Also, having a concrete plan with a specific direction is the main thing in migrating.
Congrats on your latest vlog! Hope this reaches more people so they can be guided and inspired as well. Your vlogs are always presented clearly and in a concise format. Thank you for this!

I noticed that you regularly contribute in my comment section. I appreciate that very much.
It is great to know that you got here with help from an immigration lawyer. Many fear lawyers because misinformation from agencies. People are planning to come to here as a student and are going to pay at least $20,000 to live and study here yet they are hesitant to pay approximately $250 for consultation with a lawyer to know if they are qualified. This information usually comes from agencies back at home. They end up paying these agencies many times more for low quality and unauthorized work.
Again, it’s super great that you are here in Canada with your wife. You deserve everything that you worked for!!!
Thank you for your support it means a lot to me😊😊👍

So what I did was I researched a lot then planned for I guess more than 3 months on what steps I should do first which is finding a university and a program that I want, I'm still on that step tho haha. Then my research continues, as I joined a lot of groups in FB, watching your videos as well as other youtubers about their life and process of going to Canada made me realize that what I expected is not the reality in Canada just like what you have mentioned the lifestyle and funds, like I am just a student and don't have a lot of money hahaha. I believe according to the immigration requirements for all programs you should be tremendously rich before you think to come to Canada and in the same time you are well experienced & professional but that is barely possible because when you have money you are not professional and when you are professional you don't have money but to have both it is too difficult, that's why I believe Canada although it's so big and wide but they don't want to fill it fast because actually I think areas where it is proper for living are little.
But we didn't know this from the beginning as no body would tell us the truth in order to get some money from us or maybe they don't understand too until we do it ourselves, I did pretty wide research and read much more information to finally get to know it is not for me but thanks for God I didn't lose a lot .
For you now after you spent all the power you have and all help factors you need to start working for years to compensate. Hope that miserable guy appeared in the very beginning can help in this regard just for your own greater good.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become the North Korea of the western world.

    • @rrdancel
      @rrdancel  3 года назад +2

Awww you're so sweet, thank you! I try to keep things clear and concise. Immigration agencies are a no no for me just because they are unauthorized to give legal advice on visa applications. But if it's an education agency, then that's ok since they are able to connect you with schools in Canada. :)

It makes a world of difference if you can live with family here. Accommodation is one of the most expensive things you will encounter as a student.

I know it is very traditional to help family out back in the Philippines, But I seen lots of Filipinos get caught up in family members back home want more from the ones in Canada pressures to send money back right away , it takes a bit of time to adjust for example if you worked in the medical field you need to upgrade , What happens is som3 get caught up in working 2 or 3 jobs at lower wages t9 support family and at the same time getting into debt ,Sometimes you just have to tell family you need a couple of years to upgrade your job level ,
