I knew I was gonna be a grey warden when I started and it was the best decision I made. There are soooo many grey warden dialog options, and the game itself has alot of grey warden stuff in general
Great tips, thanks! I confess I didn’t know there were more statues to align at the lighthouse, I’m going to do that as soon as I get back into the game tonight. One thing I wish they would do is allow you to sell off unwanted weapons armor etc. It’s nice to have some alternates for different kinds of fights, but it’s a confusing amount of crap to have - even though there’s no weight restriction it bogs down upgrading because you have to make sure it’s something you want to keep or will equip before you upgrade it or enchant it. I liked the way assassin’s creed odyssey lets you sell some of your unused gear or break it down into crafting or upgrading materials.
finally someone noticed and spoke about the valuables that give stats. U talk about hero of veil guard but don’t explain it very well at all like what does it entail. It’s all good buying valuables but we hardly get much gold as it is I’m struggling to buy most of the things I need nvm buying valuables aswell lol
Hry Kraze. There may be some great hints in here, but you opened this whole thing with a spoiler and im wary of watching the rest given the lack of any kind of warning on that first one. I hit up tips and tricks videos when starting a game and I def dont want the major story beats dropped like this. Best of luck see you in the next one.
Good story Interesting companions with alot of content for each one And great combat The only thing missing is the lack of choices, most of them are just black and white that do changes certain things but is nothing compared to BG3 But I don't get why this game has so much hate I really enjoyed it
Yeah, BG3 is amazing. To be fair, througout the Dragon Age series, the choices don't matter. People often seem to think they do but they're just superficial choices that might change the immediate next scene but that's it. Sometimes you'll get a cameo from a different character later, but the story itself is always the same. One exception is in DAI where you side with either the mages or templars - which one you choose leads to a mutually excluse quest and varioius different quests later, including a different minor antagonist. The Treviso/Minrathous choice is similar, and even changes which companion gets the hardened status as well as giving you loads of different dialogue with companions and a whole different set of quests.
Nothing wrong with you enjoying It, but for many people the game is lackluster in almost every aspect, especially the writting. As for the hate, well, whilst there is a lot of review bombing there are also a lot of nonsense 10/10 reviews by the press and by many people just for political reasons (apparently also economic reasons with regard to the press), so It goes either way with this game for basically the same reasons. For me it's a 6 at best.
@@yasuke1709 this game made me wanna play BG3 lol after a long period of me refusing because of the TBC. I finished DA and immediately gave in and tried BG3 and wow! The impactful choices I felt were missing in DA, really are present in BG3 👏
@nbkchaosseph9066 I find BG3's combat way more compelling eventhough I also enjoy a good action game. But with DA: The Veilguard after fighting a million times the same enemies doing the same combos over and over again I started to get bored. I know they wanted to make it flashy, but sometimes it's just a visual mess which makes it look like a mobile MMO game. Plus the companions are there only to do their detonation combo on CD, bait some enemies and that's about it. Considering how bad the dialogues are, the Disney Pixar tone for an allegedly dark fantasy game, the cartoonish character design and the terrible puzzles, the combat definitely doesn't make it up for me in oder to consider it a great game. I can see why some people is enjoying it though, as much as I get sometimes you can enjoy some junk food.
Environments look great. Armors look great. Visual effects look great. Now fix the lifeless animations and stunlock based gameplay and I might be interested in skipping all the cutscenes to play the game.
i wish someone would make a gear breakdown...not the appearance but the gear say a necro mage would use...so your not upgrading the wrong stuff at the start
The secret ending after credits might give a hint for the next game. I have a feeling there isn't going to be another game in the series after this one.
@@SirBeardsly It's been selling really well and the critical reception was great-I can't imagine they end the series. They DID say that they're focusing on Mass Effect for now, though.
@@fanbotbob64 It's done well enough and is picking up more sales now then at release. People are slowly realising that all the hate is just that. Also them focusing on Mass Effect means little in terms for another Dragon Age. It has no planned DLC generally because the story is fairly all encompassing with how side quests worked this time around. They 100% have plans for this kick starting a new series for Dragon Age though. As it acts as the bridge between past games stories wrapping up and then new stories to come. Next time we see Dragon Age I think we can expect a lot of the changes we pushed for in our story of Vielguard to have paid off and we will probably find out more about other lands across the sea finally.
