Porter Airlines' convenient commuter service out of Toronto's Billy Bishop Island Airport is tough competition - but can Air Canada Express do it better?
Join me for a short hop on one of Air Canada Express' Bombardier Dash 8 Q400s from Toronto Island to Montréal where we'll check out Air Canada's version of Porter's "refined flying". With a similar onboard offering to Porter, super convenient cabin door baggage service, and all the other benefits of using the Island Airport, Air Canada Express is making it tougher to choose which carrier to opt for on this popular commuter route.

The AC Lounge at YTZ is absolutely beautiful.
used to work on aircrafts, the reason the Q400 doesnt have a sink is because at higher altitudes and freezing temperatures the pipes on the aircraft freeze.

The dash 8-400 is actually 78 seats at ac express.
few AC Express 3 times this year , oh man those seats are in desperate need of an overhaul.
Your comments didn’t age well. Air Canada indeed offers free beer/wine and premium snacks on North American flights in Economy ….. and has for several months.
They don’t have the same premium snacks on other flights that don’t fly out of Billy Bishop. Just a small cookie or pretzels.
Indeed it is a different offering! And the offering on North American flights is only for this summer :)
@@WillAviation No. it’s until December 31st …. so far. Longer if Porter lasts that long. The actual snacks vary by route. I was offered Jumbo Kitkats and Miss Vicky’s Crisps with my free wine in Y flying YYZ-YYC a few weeks ago.
