ORCID Identifier: What, why and how?

ORCID was designed to solve the name ambiguity problem in research and scholarly communications as well as provide a link between ORCID and other current researcher ID schemes. Unsure if ORCID would be useful for you? This session will inform you about the benefits of an ORCID identifier.
The session includes:
-What is an ORCID?
-How do I get one?
-Why should I get one?
-How do I update my profile in the most efficient way including automatic updates where possible?
-Can I add links to other research sites such as SSRN?
-Anything else I need to know about having an ORCID?
