Polly, you need a torch that will reach down into the neck of the tailpipe to tell if it is a catalytic unit. You don't want to throw one in the other scrap.

Hay are the motors from your washing machines most copper, aluminum, or mostly both. For me they are mostly all aluminum.

My yard wants the tops removed. They might let one slide here or there though dislike too many. They also have Allen key screws and I don’t have that drill bit set 🙂

Poly when you say thick and are happy can you explain what that means. I’m figuring thick, heavier more money?
Steel that is thicker than 3mm and 1m or shorter is worth double. Things like bbq plates and brake rotors or even bolts and screws 🙂
