@@bryanel4056 I'm in my mid 40's, so I don't feel like I'm that old. But I remember when the Premier League was founded. Back then, it seems like we were football fans first and then supporters of our respective teams. I don't like Liverpool supporters. But I do respect any supporter who loves their team and stays loyal through thick and thin. The "plastic fans" never understand the beauty of the game, esp when they are only there to talk about the superstars.

@@timtamothy51 So maybe you are the business mogul cum football expert the world needs, good for you. All I know is that FSG is squeezing Liverpool FC for every penny it can, the stadium expansion is another strategy to fill it's coffers, it won't translate to more spending to improve the team. The success of Mo Salah and Jurgen Klopp has largely peppered over the cracks that are all over the place at LFC. We have the weakest depth among the top teams in the league, our midfield is suspect and needs better players, we don't have a prolific goal scoring center forward, we don't have good wingers who can fill in for Salah and Mane in case they are injured or absent... The most worrying thing is that FSG does not shell out big money for transfers without selling players, this has led to us having very poor depth on the bench for a club of such high stature and ambitions. Without Klopp, this business model will not see long term success in modern football.

I honestly wanted the best for Newcastle, they're a good club an have put up with some shite over the years especially recently with Mike Ashley but it would be immoral to accept these owners! I don't know what the Premier league were thinking, they're clearly part of the Saudi rulers an therefore completely unfit to be club owners based on the countrys appalling human rights record, its treatment of women and the LGBTQ community and its blatant involvement in state sponsored murder! We're talking about a country that beheads people for crimes you wouldn't get a prison sentence for in the UK. I know it's exciting Newcastle fans an you have wanted Ashley our for years but not like this, surely the majority don't feel at ease?

it’s bad in terms of prices for players as people will see that they have money so they will charge ridiculous prices for players who aren’t worth that amount of money.
it’s good for newcastle as they will have new players, motivation, and it will be great for the club.

    My prediction...
They'll buy some decent players to start off with, maybe 2 or 3 in January. Bruce is sacked in Feb.
New manager in and if they stay up they'll sign 3-4 in the summer and one world class player to get excited about. They'll get between 6th-9th the next season 2022/23.
Then buy a few more quality players and then get close to the top 4 and maybe close to a cup win in 2023/24.
2024/25 onwards they're challenging for the title and cups each year.
