Completely Excellent! Every aspect of your installation/destination is a stunning work of art, in and of itself...creating the perfect showcase environment...keep up the great work!
I see a lot of effort put in to bring this experience to Singapore. The exhibits and multi media shows before the entering the main room provided glimpses to Van Gogh's thinking. We can appreciate his paintings more after going through these presentations. It was a worthwhile experience.
What a fantastic experience. I really feel I was inside of these masterpieces , it’s nice the exhibition provided the chairs and cushions, so people can relax and immerse themselves inside of the painting. It’s definitely worth going 🤩👍🏼🖼️
I sat down on one of these chairs to watch the show. It was comfortable. I would have lied down on the carpets with cushions if I had not been filming. I see people immersed and enjoying the presentations. The VR experience cost an additional $5. It was an 11-minute show and worth it. You see people spinning around on the stools as the show was 360 degrees.
It looks worth the visit to me and I'm a big fan of cool artwork, lighting and the giant screens. It was a lot more than I expected to see, and it looks like a fun place to spend some time. There were many different things to check out and so many interesting scenarios. I love the night time setting, but everything in that giant room was entertaining. I'd probably lay down too and just stare at the ceiling for a while. Great video and this place is my kind of place to see. Thanks for sharing!👍 👍
If you lay down and stare at the ceiling, you will see the black ceiling. Haha. Projections are on the high walls and floor. It's good to read up on Van Gogh before visiting so that you can appreciate the Experience better. Van Gogh was a very misunderstood man. His paintings only became famous after his suicide. I can send some insights to you in a followup comment if you like to read 😀
@Singapore City Walks Oh okay. Well I guess I'll stare in a diagonal angle. 😅 The place looked really nice and I do admit I don't know too much about him. I've only saw a few nice paintings from him. Feel free to provide information you'd like to share as I do enjoy reading, learning and also writing. Much appreciated.
I saw it in SC but it wasn't to this degree. I still enjoyed myself but how awesome it would have been to see replicas of the paintings and rooms to walk into. 😢
Yes, I agree that it would be great to see replicas of his paintings instead of just watching this multimedia experience. To me, this experience gives me a good introduction to many of his paintings that I am not aware of. There will be a Monet themed flowers event at the Flower Dome soon at the Gardens by the Bay that you might be interested to visit. Cheers!
Does the experience that you see in this video similar to the one in Tokyo? There are 5 different Van Gogh exhibitions going around the world - VG The Immersive Experience, Beyond VG - The Immersive experience, VG Alive, VG 360, VG THE LUME. I have posted a video Van Gogh - THE LUME that I visited in Melbourne. You might like to watch it 😀
Super awesome 👏🏼 I was there in June 2023 with a friend who has autism and he love it 🥰 so do I 😂 maybe the music can be Abit softer so that other autistic can feel welcome as well
You will enjoy this Experience if you love art and if you can spend time there to watch the exhibits, without rushing, before you enter the big room. The 360 degrees VR experience is very nice too. It's $5 for 11 minutes of VR.
Why are all the comments saying ‘wow it’s so beautiful!’ But yet you’re rating everything 1-2 stars lol. Loved it personally. My gift shop was a lot better and the VR experience I went through was cool. Inspiring place. Sorry you had a bad time
Ordinary ticket is good enough. Once you enter, you can stay as long as you like. You can always buy a replica painting at the gift shop. Don't need a VIP ticket.
It's at Basement of Resort World. If you go by Sentosa Express Skytrain, get down at the 1st stop. Follow the crowd and go 1 level down. If you drive, it's at the basement main entrance near the Casino. Good to go when there's no crowd, e.g. mid week early slot. You can sit at the lazy chairs provided or simply lie on the floor to enjoy the multimedia adaption of his artwork. Once inside, you can linger al long as you like. There's no time limit.
Yes, the tickets are scanned at the entrance. I got my tickets scanned before I went out again to film my entrance to the exhibition. So it looked like I didn't need to get my tickets scanned.
@@haseenanisha258 l just attended today. I was early by half an hr n was told to go back closer to 3 pm because their aim is to avoid overcrowding. This means you may or may not be allowed in earlier, depending on the attendance on that day.
Last entry timing - Mon to Thu 8pm, Fri & Sat 9pm, Sun 7pm Exhibition will close 1hr 15mins after last entry. Try to go earlier so as to enjoy the experience without rushing. If you are in a hurry, you will not enjoy the experience. All the best my friend!
The multimedia show in the big room is about an hour. You will spend time looking up the various paintings, 2 smaller video shows, virtual reality with goggles, gift shop etc. You will probably need 1.5 to 2 hrs. Good to go on weekdays when there's fewer people.
Yes definitely worth it! I also visited Van Gogh - The LUME in Melbourne. It's a very different but equally good experience. You might like to watch it. Video is in my channel 😀
Any down side with the exhibition? Planning to go but seems besides one big hall of animation theres nothing much, i have two small boys just worry they cannot withstand an hour of art appreciation and that would be money down the drain🥲
Go if you love art or are curious about Van Gogh's art. The exhibition is a lot about his life and the way he looks at things. It's a lot about him actually. Do a bit of googling and you will appreciate the exhibition more. You need to spend time watching the 2 multimedia presentations and read explanation on the exhibits to understand Van Gogh before you enter the big room. Your boys will likely be bored, so better not to bring them unless they love art. As for me, and many others, I enjoyed the experience very much as I have a bit of prior knowledge about Van Gogh. For me, there's no downside.

El arte de Van Gogh es realmente hermoso. ¡Gracias por tu comentario amigo! ❤️
That looks like a wonderful experience which emphasizes the genius of the great man. Certainly if I were in Singapore I would not want to miss it.

Can bring point-and-shoot camera? Or you use handphone?
There's no restrictions. Can bring any camera or phone to shoot. Organisers would be happy.
Where is the location? Its inside the USS? or we must go thre by transport from the USS ?
