@@familyread7889 Results are always going to be inconsistent when you're changing a clubs culture to high performance, let alone under the injury issues we have currently. 18 months is only a small portion of the time required to make an informed decision.
You can check the receipts in all my comments, I’ve always been Ange in. What a great manager he is. We’re in the worst injury crisis I’ve ever seen, he needs time
The board constantly undermine each manager. They don't get the quality we need and always leave us short. Credit to them for getting players out, but despite Ange's tactical decison making, there is an argument that he's been let down by those above him. He could have said no to signing certain players, but we don't know what options there were
They misread the last transfer window with all those older squad members left without paying the money to replace them. They let Ange down by not spending enough to get better more experienced players into the squad. Neto etc
We were unable to beat these types of teams earlier this season because of attitude and application also factor in we're in a injury crisis so yeah i'd say that's a step forward in the right direction.
The guy says Son has always been a purple patch player. Well Son is one of the Seven players in the history of premier league who scored 10+ goals in 8 consecutive seasons and he assisted at least 6+ in those seasons. If Son is purple patch player, there is no player who isn't. And this guy blaming Son not dragging off the team when needed and he gave Palace game as an example when Son didn't even play that game. If you think Deki should be captain, why not blaming him for games against Brighton and Palace game that Son didn't play and still lost miserably.
The fanbase isn't flip floping, lol! It's about who's is louder at the end of each match day. When we don't win, the angeouters will have an absolute field day and will be all over social media. When we win, they go hiding, and the angeiners take over. That's pretty much it. I don't believe much flip floppers exist in this fan base. At the end of the day, most of these people only care about their narratives. They will go to any extent to show that they are 'right', including hoping and praying we lose games. Happened with conte, happening now with ange 😂 Football fans man 😅🤦
I totally agree we need to see out close Games to get to that next level!! We need leaders however if anges philosophy is to smash everyone and not that bothered about conceding goals then how is that going to help us win close games ? We smashed a team who are terrible bottom of the league and can’t defend that’s his level after 18 months that’s a fact you can’t argue with that even with a full squad I like Ange and want him to succeed but he’s gotta lose the stubborness and adapt game to game or we will be inconsistent Tottenham let’s see how we get on in January and look to see if he adapts by the end of the season
One game against a woeful Southampton side doesn't suddenly mean we forget what proceeded it or change much. Let's see how he does for the next several games and if he is safe. We need to follow this up, but will we?
I agree. If we were fourth in the league and won 5-0 at Southampton it would be positive. But when you're in the bottom half of the table and a win takes you to 10th, it's the bare minimum.
I reckon we will beat Utd and Liverpool > cue mass fan hysteria and new wave of Ange worship... Then we will get beat by Wolves and Tamworth (insert low ranked team of choice) > cue Levy out, Ange out songs... Then will win the League Cup semi > "Spurs are on their way to..." > cue 'history-making' Ange rhetoric etc. Then more defeats by Everton, Leicester etc > return of 'sack everyone' campaigns etc etc...
I disagree when that guy said the league cup isn’t a good measure of where we are as a team. I think it’s very telling of the team if they managed to get a trophy over the line, regardless of the stature
@@garydymant809 league position is a better indicator of how consistent we can be as a team but what I’m referring to is that mentality that we’ve been missing over the past twenty years or so that has seen us either choke in the later rounds or get dumped out in the early rounds by ‘lesser teams’. You might think winning the carabao cup would do nothing for us moving forward but I would disagree. Getting to semi-finals and finals is all good, but actually getting over the line would give the players a huge boost in terms of belief
@@garydymant809 also listing three championship clubs isn’t the great point you think it is. They’re outliers. Of course a lesser team can win a cup every now and again and then go onto do nothing. It’s better to look at the clubs that win it regularly- City, United, Chelsea, Liverpool - clubs who are used to getting trophies over the line - that’s where we should aspire to be
We defo could do with Hojberg in game management.. cut his loan.. give him a 2year bench contract would be ideal. Na, just playing you know we could do with kane end of next season. Same just subbed myself. Just level headed blokes that know football.

Just spent a few hours with our two swedes here on the broardwater farm estate Tottenham in our community centre. Top blokes.
The pressure is all engineered from fans and channel pundits.
And results? 🤷🏽♂️

Maddison and son need to be on at the same time to win games. The stats back that up over the long run.
4:51 same here.
Ange team defeated The Mighty Saints. We are going places.

Didn’t blame him for palace. He didn’t play.
You can be inconsistent or consistent within a season and still get numbers
FFS stop this excuses. When we win it's Ange Masterclass but when we lose we have a injury problem🤣🤣🤣
This fanbase flip flops every week. So unserious. No mystery why levy has drained this club for every pound for a quarter century 😂😂😂😂
Erm levy hasn't taken a penny out of the club (not even a dividend) keep up mate

Against Palace we were slow and boring..

Tell me, what do you think winning the league cup and finishing 10th-13th tells us vs winning the league cup and finishing 4th-6th?
Also, interested to know what you think winning the league cup told us about Boro in 2003/4, Birmingham in 2010/11 or Swansea in 2012/13?

Oh man stop saying like!!! So bad
comparing spurs to drug cheats (chelsea) is not fair.
For me no but for everyone else just about. Lose to Man U and it’s going to be a big problem.
most entitled and unknowledgeable fanbase in the league, no idea what ange is doing
You didn't watch the show at all did you?
