I did change the supercharger oil with fresh ACDELCO supercharger oil. I took out 100ml of fluid so i replaced 100ml of fluid. I forgot to mention in this video. Hope yall enjoy the video! GOD BLESS!

Luxury of video editing. The first half was simple but the belt routing was a PAIN!

@@matth6284 The longest part was doing the research for the belt diagram I’m not even gonna lie it took three hours but the stuff behind the camera takes forever like setting the tripod up and stuff like that if I was to just go to work I could have it done so fast

That supercharger whine sounds beautiful even more so than a v8 supercharged!!!
I don't care what kind of car it is, that supercharger whine is amazing. I wish mine had that whine but roush made it quiet for some reason.
Yea they did it because it’s illegal to have noise in some states. I don’t even have to mention the state and I’m sure you know. I remember they saying if it makes any noise louder than factory it’s illegal.
@@TexasHondaChannel I didn't realize that. It makes sense tho to be 50 state legal and CA is crazy about that stuff. Thankfully Texas isn't that way!
@@TexasHondaChannel my no catted strait pipe d16 has a nice little rumble at idle but let me get above 2500rpm at a quarter throttle and it echoes under awnings going by gas stations everyone looks at me not sure of what they are thinking though😆. I just make sure when i pass cops i am barely on throttle. I left out of this restaurant last Friday night where everyone hangs out and drinks at bar and floored it power shift or no lift off gas shift to 2nd looked down i was doing 45 looked back up I was passing a cop clocking speeds lucky I didn't go above the speed limit. Dont know how he didn't hear me probably had his windows up. But the exhaust dump you used to have is probably the safe route to go.

Nice install! However, I wouldn't suggest looping the power steering lines like that. I did that on my Civic after filling the rack with fluid and ended up blowing out the seals. Could be coincidence, but I don't think so. I think what happened is since I looped the lines in the middle of the winter, the fluid expanded from engine/summer heat and built too much pressure since the system was completely sealed. Using some type of vented reservoir to equalize the pressure when the fluid expands and contracts is definitely a better option. Or just get the EPS rack like I did :)
Love it man I just bought my first supercharged car a 99 grand prix gtp. Love that whine. If I still had my TL I would put one on it but a deer at 80 killed it 😭

@Texas Honda Channel this is exactly what I want to do! It seems like you kept the air conditioner, did the new pulley configuration bring down A/C performance at all?
the run really well on e85, especially if not charge cooled.
If you enjoy power steering another option that will save space and feel great is the ep3 electric power steering set up, it’s almost plug and play
I don’t like electric power steering I’ve seen a lot of mechanical failures causing wrecks because of mechanical steering failures or the polarity switches and it Yanks the steering to the left or the right either way it’s a good idea in theory but there’s too much room for error but to each their own

Very nice install. How long did it end up taking you total? When the time comes, are you going to try some dyno runs w/ the current hot air intake & again w/ the cold air set up to see the difference between them?
Honestly not sure on the hot air intake versus cold air intake runs yet we will see what happens there it took me about five hours and three of the hours were just trying to get a diagram For the belt routing all in all it should only take a couple hours if you have experience

Is there a supercharger for the automatic RSX?
Sounds sick , just need to put the map sensor on the plenum side so the ecu can see boost and not just vaccum
I didn’t show you up close. It has a bypass that the map sensor sits on and that’s what that vacuum line is going to. It sees positive pressure

You can buy the same type of superchargers these days in varrying size ranges, look up TVS / MR K series superchargers, Merc Racing. The CT Superchargers are 900, MR offers 1320, 1900 and 2300.

The b7 distributor fits the y7 and y8 with no issues 💪🏻
Did you have any leaks on your power steering bypass with that double washer side? I'm currently installing mine and worry about a leak there.

I left links in the description but as I said in the video these superchargers are no longer made but there are others you can buy, Check the links in the description
Read up on CSRX. Lots of stories of these SC's not being super reliable and blowing engines quick. Not always the case and you need a good tuner but it's a real risk

How hard is it to steer without the power steering?
I’ve drove so many cars without power steering and this is one of the easiest ones I’ve drove without it summer easier summer harder it really just depends but personally I like how this one drives
where u buy the power steering delete and what belt u running?
The belt came with the supercharger so not sure and the links in the description

Wish there was a way to reliably tune with an auto trans. Without piggy back ect I'd love to supercharge my mini me. Looks good and sounds good in there
There definitely is a way to do it I have seen it done just don’t know the way lol
@@TexasHondaChannel iv seen it with piggy back and stand alone ecu setups just expensive then finding someone to do a tune for an auto is another search in itself

@@Jugg215 for the hell of it. Why not right something different if I could find the trans ect I'd just manual swap. But none within 2hrs drive from where I'm @ and not guaranteed to even b there still. Automatics with turbos are making Hella #s @ the tracks and just be something fun pick on unsuspecting cars with. Also no turbo lag.
@@GlassWerx I took my girls base RSX and for 2k swapped it to 6 speed with LSD. Was shipped right to my door with warranty...

Wouldn't mind finding an old Drouin supercharger for one of my SOHC CB750Ks.
Tell me about it the only money I get is from my paychecks and then they go right back into the channel so I can make more paychecks to go right back into the channel. I’m typically broke 100% of the time only because to make content cost money but that would be really cool to see all of those super charged

I have some ratchet wrenches but I’ve had them for seven years and a few of them are starting to fail so I think it’s time for an upgrade
Does vtec still work with supercharger ?
Not by itself no, just putting a supercharger on is not going to take away vtech, but after adding any kind of forced induction you're going to want to look at the fuel mapping again and maybe change the ECU settings for when VTEC enables. Alternatively you may just want to add a higher profile camshaft.
