      Thanks for that.. it was such a nice surprise. The owners had been through a lot which made an unexpectedly good outcome so much better.. its what makes us love what we do.

      @@HomeTheatreEngineering Since I've never experienced a professional home Cinema, nor have I've ever been to another HT enthusiast's room, all I know are the rooms that I've done... And I've never had another enthusiast experience my room, so I've always wondered how my Cinema stacks up? I feel like it punches above it's weight, but that just might be because I'm bias! Lol

      @@HomeTheatreEngineering I'm on the West side of Michigan in the US, which is about a 4 hour drive from Chicago. So... a bit of a "drive" from Australia... ; )

      @@TerminatorJuice Hi So I am coming to the US in November to meet with Wisdom. I am not sure I would have time but would love to visit. I will be in Nevada and then LA. I will be inviting a "chosen few" to a session at a Procella demo cinema in LA so let me know if you are keen. Finally we are looking at starting a series where we visit and review rooms and help owners "perk them up" but our views and income are not able to support this at the moment. Will kick this off locally and see how it goes.....

    Great video and that dedication to drive so far is definitely commendable !
    Would really like to know whether those are brick walls or drywall like in the US, onto which the acoustic panels have been placed ? Have seen this practice here in India where they cover every wall of the room with an expensive acoustic material, which I feel would deaden the room. Is more acoustic material needed when its a brick and concrete construction ?

    Andrew, It's amazing the length to which you went for your customer. To drive 6400km is amazing. My condition often prevents me from driving where I would like to go. Even a 100 mile trip is mentally daunting. People that have never had major anxiety issues should be very grateful and I wish that pain on no one. You are an amazing fellow and business owner. The world needs more people to be so dedicated to good customers. Thank you!!!
    Besides the overview of this great home cinema, I am so glad I watched this morning. That album Point by Yello, although a bit strange, is fantastic and I cannot wait to get the DVD and play it on my 5.1.2 rig. On my desk 2.1 system it sounds great. I may have to change my taste in musicians a little now. Thanks you again!
    Sir, I wish and yours all of the very best life has to offer,

      You are welcome Kevin and thank you. That album”point” sounds as you say a bit strange but wait til you hear it on a full blown atmos system!

      @@HomeTheatreEngineering The BluRay Atmos version is available from an Amazon UK warehouse and I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Someday I hope I will be able to get a few real Dolby Atmos demo/test disks also. Please have a great day.

    This is great... My question is..krix mx10 vs LCR Megaphonics inwall plus seperate subs... Which would deliver cleaner highs and mids and volume of amps were the same (Bass is obviously whatever the subs will do)
    Are the Megaphonics the same as the MX10 LCR units?

    • @HomeTheatreEngineering
      @HomeTheatreEngineering  Год назад +1

      Hi great question. They are all great products. We much prefer however to use Megaphonix as it gives us more scope to customise the room and speaker locations etc. The MX systems are great to a point but from true custom designs as mentioned we prefer the individual units. They are otherwise effectively the same LCR units as I understand it. Feel free to contact us to discuss this

    Curious why no Envy or other tone mapping solution?

    • @HomeTheatreEngineering
      @HomeTheatreEngineering  2 года назад +2

      Quite simply due to budget. Don't forget tone mapping is happening by default in every projector and TV, it has to or everything would look terrible. This is much misunderstood. What you are talking about is frame by frame tone mapping. While nice to have and is a great high end solution that also provides a lot of other advantages but a well calibrated projector should still produce awesome results.
