    What a beautiful place to camp. Nothing wrong with camping alone, the peacefulness must have been hard to take. That is interesting you are doing the LS swap. Will be watching for those videos. Thanks. Stevo

    Gotta love winter camping. With my gazelle tent I use a small moving blanket on top of the net below the fly to keep some of the heat in.

      Ya winter camping is awesome!! That's a great idea with the moving blanket, I have an Arcturix wool blanket I will try next weekend

    Great to see the Jeep back out Jason !!! One thing, unless I missed it, thermal fan on the buddy heater... game changer!! Really looking forward to the LS swap too, I'm with ya though much cheaper to get the swap than a new Jeep and rebuild... So I'm looking at slowly putting away for it too. We will have to talk about why the 5.3 and not the 6.0 my friend !! Peace

      Bruce...yes the thermal fan is a good thing. I have some different heating methods coming soon!! (future video) I would love to debate the 5.3 vs 6.0 one day with you 😁

      Go long, at least 11ft. and wide. You are going to lay on an angle to get flat.

    Glad to see your jeep is back up and running. At 1st I thought, that's gotta be the quickest LS swap lol. I really can't wait to get out that way. Thanks again for another great video.

      Ya haha.....I went ahead and got it running just so I can get back out adventuring while I get the LS swap ready to go.

    The possibilities are endless with an LS swap. Is there a bell housing adapter to fit the Mopar transmission to the 5.3? Or will you put a 6l80 in it too??

    • @OverlandAlberta
      @OverlandAlberta  8 месяцев назад +1

      doing the 6L80e, check out RPM Extreme....some great knowledge there on the LS swaps

    good to see it going again. Are you doing the ls swap, or are you getting someone to do it and what is your plan for the wiring harness?

      Thank you! Ya doing RPM Extreme harness for that.

    Happy to see your Jeep back on the trails again Jason !
    Got a question about the Gazelle tent you are using, does it fit in the JK with the seats up ?
    I am planning on getting a T4 tent this season for the JLUR but got 2 car seats in the back so folding down is not an option...
    Also, where'd you buy your tent from ?
    Thanks !

      @OverlandAlberta  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hello! Thank you for watching my videos!
      The Gazelle fits from right behind the drivers seat all the way to the rear door.
      It touches both ends.....it's a tight fit.
      I am thinking of getting a Thule roof carrier to move it to the roof

    • @abyfelixsct
      @abyfelixsct 8 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks man, that is definitely a tight fit ! I got a Thule motion xt xxl box on my GX and sounds like a Gazelle would easily fit in it, but just wanted to use the Jeep a little more this season... I am not a fan of the exo style racks on a Jeep, so really looking forward to your video on a thule setup.
