Watching your videos on the ebay business motivated me to get started with my own ebay. Parting out and selling dirt bikes and sportbikes. Good luck with your new endeavor, stay positive and keep grinding and it will all work out.
Thanks, I appreciate it bud! There is still some good money to be made on ebay, one video i never go around to making is how i never parted out enough rangers and rzrs. We did a few before switching over and they did very well, it's like taking apart a big fourwheeler but the parts are more expensive.
I feel the frustration, you bought those projects and you believed it will bring some money flipping them but the reality is that you took somebody’s problems and it is taking a lot of time to figure out the missing parts, engine issues and cost to fix those things. It is a headache. I will start getting rid of all that junk, at least trying to get some profit or losing a lot of money and time. Remember that time is money. Also your quality of life goes down with all that stress and you might spend less time with your family because you are addicted to that power sport junk hoarding. Thanks for sharing your situation. If you are going to keep any of those machines and parts are becoming a pain to get or fix, do an engine swap, who cares it is for your personal use and joy. I wish you the best with your business.
All of them have already been turned to profits, I’d say 25% of the machines I buy end up being a head ache but I rarely have them more than a month and I’m working to make that turn over faster. I’m the opposite of a hoarder though, I won’t even keep machines I like 😂
Ebays a pain at times, ive had to switch to parts because noone around here can afford whole machines really in this economy. Flipping is definetly more rewarding IMO
Its definitely faster to turn a profit parting them out. Most these machines i am fixing would return the initial investment within a week or two of being listed on eBay.
curious as to what the problems were to make you stop doing Ebay. Or if it's more so being burned out and seeing more potential for you in just flipping the machines.
I would say it is 80% just bored of selling parts and wanting to move on to flipping full time. Some of it was issues I had with eBay, but honestly it was just the push I needed to get moving towards other goals.
I might sell off some of the spare ranger parts in the future but for now im taking a break from shipping out and going to stockpile some of these parts for the ones we are rebuilding. Brutalparts.com is buying us out and should have some of the inventory up in the next month or so.

I love bringing a 2nd life back to neglected sport atvs, Hondas always bring good money flipping
I loved doing the sport quads too, they are much easier to move than the 4x4 stuff but the area i'm in doesn't sell well.
