Excellent review! I was contemplating changing the chip as well for the same exact reasons you mentioned with the handling, so I think I will test that out for sure the next nice day I have in NY. What an awesome affordable beast of an E-bike...👍All the best, Jay

It appears to be a great value. Did you weigh the bike?

Great review! 2½ hours of riding, you said. How many kilometers in this time?

    Great review as always 👏
Im torn between this and the cube Hybrid 140 hpc pro 625, with bosh motor. Intermediate rider mostly blue trails bit of cross country.
Your opinion would be greatly appreciated?👍

If it's the older model which isn't Smart System - get the Polygon. The handling is better and the ergonomics of the motor controls is better.

@@Australianmountainbike thanks for the fast reply 👍 I think I will pull the trigger on the polygon siskiu T7E still cheaper than the cube with decent battery.
Just have to wait till bikes online get size small back in stock, as I'm in that S/M range🤔.
Thanks again much appreciated 🙏 👍

Hi there I’m new to this. Coming of dirt bikes, but I’m 6”6’ and 120kg, how will the xl handle me? Would the battery flatten fairly quick being a big guy? Cheers loved the review

The battery does use Wh (energy) to move mass so it will be impacted. Check in with BikesOnline about the total system weight, you may be right around the limit once cycling gear is included.

This or a YT decoy core 1?

    • @Australianmountainbike
      @Australianmountainbike  10 месяцев назад +1

They're not really comparable as the Decoy is a bigger and burlier bike. If you need a big hit self shuttle bike, go for the YT. If you're after a trail eMTB then the Polygon is great.

Boat anchor for a fork on a $5000+ USD bike. No bueno

    • @Australianmountainbike

That's in AUD - you'll find that a burly fork is your friend on an eMTB.

    That’s a ridiculous price. Never

It's a very competitive price for a full-suspension eMTB with a Shimano system and a quality build in Australia. It's a lot of money for a mountain bike - but well within the realms of a trail e-bike.

These are now $4,500 at bikesonline. Yes, it is a lot of money for a bike. However, it's not a lot for a serious e-mtb. If you just want something to ride around town there are much cheaper options available.
