Sarah grew up in Taos on the banks of the legendary Rio Grande. She is a devoted fan of this river, where she spends most of her time on her favorite activity, white water kayaking. She lives the free and simple existence of those who have found their way in life. James lives on the cusp of speed, risk, and fear. Tearing along at over 80 km/h he’s in search of the perfect balance between adrenaline and harmony. For him, skateboarding is more than an extreme sport; it is an art in itself. Ten years ago, Kristi returned here to the ancestral Apache lands in the southern part of the state, in search of her identity. Now, she is undertaking a pilgrimage to the heart of the Indian world and thus retracing her own history. Welcome to New Mexico!

I, being a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, thank you for depicting our beloved state and our beloved people accurately and with much appreciated reverence .You might want to come back and try some of our chili. Seriously.

I am in TX/AR and I have thought about moving to New Mexico. I spent 30 years in CA and I miss the west. I thought about moving to Las Vegas but too expensive, thought about AZ but too expensive, went to visit NM and it seemed great. Close to AZ, CO, and it’s beautiful in its own right. Just not sure. I work for airline so I could get job in Albuquerque but I’d like to live a little ways out. I’m poor though, good credit and job history, if I could find something to buy I’d prob just go. My lady loves horses
No cambia nada casi todos en nuevo mexico son mexicanos por algo se llama nuevo mexico sigue siendo mexico pero moderno me encanta saludos samuel animo😅😊😅
It's strange to me that people think only "indigenous" people are connected to nature. We are all indigenous to some part of the earth. Different, but not better or less.
To obtain financial freedom, one must either be a business owner, an investor or both, generating passive income, particularly on a weekly and monthly basis. That's the key to living a financially stable life. This trick has never failed. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life and put this basis to work and practice. I was going to move to NM to live among Saguaro 🌵CAC🌵TUS🌵sizzezz and then I learned they don't have any! Bummer. Then I learned that NM has the most vi ()lent crime in all of USA and rates #1 for rates of sui 🌵ci🌵de. Forget the no cacti! I can't even go to AZ after OUR heat-wave of 130F, no thanks!
I like the way the proud native Americans portray the need not to trash up our lands. I’ve been to numerous Rez’s and all the dilapidated buildings, trailer, junk vehicles up on blocks parted out. Old discarded furniture and trash in there beautiful yard really emphasizes how Natives live with drug and alcohol abuse rampant. Only the staged Indians on horseback riding wearing their pretty regalia appearing to live in these factory canvas teepee’s makes great video and photo Op.
Their are more evil people inside of a church or mosque than inside of a casino. Sad but true no need to worship anyone just do go things and be kind to others.
Shame on the narrator. It is native American or American. The only Americans are natives. India is in south Asia. Go to class for an education on cultures.

Isn't Kenya a very poor country where people don't even have clear water? Are you rich? Why don't you help your country instead?

These docs are so good that it's hard to believe they are 50 minutes. When I watch them, 50 minutes feels like 10.
Top notch documentaries

She did 23 and me and found out shes 10% native so she packed up and moved to cash in her oppression points.

only in calm rivers or the sea is it a little safer than in a turbulent river

For real she's very profitable
Whole life is a joke in every sense, the investment side of a whole life policy gives the poor return and stabilized the rich

Little bit corny. Tourist promotion with a self realization angle.
i can do all these other activities but not riding on a bull back,

6:45 what is she doing on a horse with her new identity? the were no horses in north america before an awful white people came
The first bit about Natives is cringy. 😂
Do Apache people pray to God and read the Bible?
Does it matter ?
@@oriontheraptor8119 just curious, if they believe in Jesus Christ and they have eternal life.
@@Thankyou_3 who wants to worship a God who sends people to eternal torment simply for not worshipping him or believing he’s real.
