Exploring Sinkholes In A Railroad Line Woods
HTML-код

- Today we explore a series of sinkholes I discovered that are opening up along an abandoned railroad line deep in the woods. The sinkholes are active in that the dirt is still being washed deep underground during storms. I hope that there is a huge cavern waiting to be discovered.

Today we check out a series of sinkholes I discovered in the woods. I hope you enjoy the video.
Chiggs Cave Show!
Going to nickname you Floyd… because you’re going to get stuck one day, lol.
Be careful. 🙏🏻
You wanna know why there are S turns in the railroads of the 1800's ?? Because Congress appropriated funds for the railroads by the mile. So, if you throw some unnecessary S turns in there, you just made more money than if it went straight. Once they found this out the rebuilt them as the crow flies. It took all that much more fuel, maintenance, etc, with the curvy mile.
I miss your old cave videos. I actually watched a few of them last night, always amazing.
the Chigg is due for a big Ol' underground Adventure....
Yes he is!!!💯👍
Chigg i'd bet a dollar that hole right down the middle of that old rotted stump is the cavity left after the taproot of that huge tree rotted away...
The caves are cool but i wanna see you find a whole cannon.
This is the year chigg
The big one
Me too!
The reason why I dont do caves is because of the "what if's." What if there's an earthquake, a health issue, samsquatch's cousin lives down there, some undiscovered unhealthy fungi etc..
@leannkennedy6568 Kinda like getting in a car and driving, no? I really do believe I have a greater chance of getting hurt just driving to my sites.
@aquachigger yep, pretty much. Not to mention all the other mundane things we do in life. If interest and desire are there, then the fear factor wouldn't be so intense. Glad you have those. It makes for a group of titillating "on the edge of the seat" kind of videos.
Good little adventure and couldn't have came at a better time, I enjoyed it thanks Chigg.
Chigg I was very much wondering when we would see you back in a cave. I hope this leads to a chigg cave exploration!
Carefut there, Chig...
Dig it out!
My great grandpa has a cave named after him, Jim Ray cave in Indiana. It’s nice. Has a dry side and a wet side, with a cabin built out front straddling the water coming out. Used to have family reunions there many years ago. It’s changed hands several times and the DNR look after protecting it for the brown bat’s health. There’s a cool spring fed lake made by beavers in the Hollow too. Don’t think anyone ever got bit on the butt by a rabid one though.
I enjoyed the adventure
Yes more holes
I live on a 10 acre property along a railroad line from the 1800s. There are sink holes along it too. Deep in the woods on washington
Sounds like fun!!
Film it! What part of Washington? I was born and raised in PNW.
I've been waiting for the cave videos forever
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Bones Hereford Ranch.
@@gcr1 Just as dry over by Parker as here by Irene
Could be the Golden Laire of forgotten Drunken Master Chung Ho Ho!!! 😮
always fun
Hi Chigg!
Hi
Are those sink holes next to the old tracks? The old track bed I would think is very solid
Pretty cool!
Finally new sinkhole/cave content!
Hope you get to explore it. I miss the caving adventures
Time to watch.
They got a new one in LA today Chigg,,
Might be some gold down there
Finally getting to where I can watch without worrying. I'm just one of many who cares, appreciates your sharing, and hopes one of those sinkholes leads you to a cave with a treasure chest of gold.
How often do you C&C when you are out exploring new stuff and places.
When is you wife gonna foster some more adorable animals?
We need some kittens.
Amazing cross stratification going on around the hole
Awesome adventure you never know where they lead until you go be safe though.
I would try to dig some of those out. With that many sinkhole there must be a large cavern or cave system below. Cool!
Is it possible that I first came upon your channel when you were crawling into a sinkhole? 🤔 either way, ❤
BE CAREFUL 🧐 YOU SHOULD HAVE ANOTHER PERSON THERE 😮😊.
How come you don't metal detect sink holes?
Entry to agartha
😎👍✌
😀
You should look up mine maps for the area. Theres a good chance its an old mine shaft. Stay away from it. Mines would use large boulders like the ones in the beginning of the video to mark mine claims.
Just be glad they aren't STINK-holes! (one letter can make all the difference)
Well.... they are often stinky too.
@@aquachigger Methane, or decomposing Samsquanches?
How is your Rabid Beaver Butt Bite.....? Hope you got it checked out and that you're on Med's...? =)
I love donkies!
👍😊
Beau, what happened with the sink hole on your property?
I often wonder how his road dispute for his other property played out or is going. That is one thing I've found out watching his vids, Dont mess with the ol' chig!!
Chigg...why all the short vids? Are you losing interest? Too busy? We need to know! 🤔
It's that or not posting the content at all.
I think caves are cool and interesting and it used to be a past time of mine a long time ago. I would watch any of the videos you would put out digging out a potential cave or exploring them. Having said that, watching videos and learning various things is mostly what I do now, well least in the cold months. I have seen so many "sink holes" and grounds collapsing in and on and around homes, woods well many many places, and this trend , well it disturbs me, It makes me fearful. Shoot the building I live in is a city row home 4 floors in part needs fixing the foundation seems to be sinking a bit. anyways, do you think all these sink holes are due to the more amounts of rain we are getting, trees being too close together..or what? What do you think is the cause of them showing up more and more? Any theories?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Do you name the caves you find chigger bites?
You should come checkout my place got sinkholes everywhere 3000 ft elevation in franklin wv
That sounds interesting.
Let my know when your in the area I'm not far from that fort you were digging at
@davidmorehead588 I'd have to make a plan to be there. I don't get down that way often otherwise. I would consider making a trip there just to explore sinks if you have some that people haven't been in yet.
It's 170 acres not sure if anyone has checked into them
One of the sinkholes has a diameter of about 30 ft
Dude you look different,younger looking..
He better be careful or them female sansquintch will be all over him!! 🤣
Watch your butt! 😉
