We need to find the cause for puffy eyes.
Causes :
Ageing : is there out pouching of fat under the skin whch is leading to puffiness under the eyes. This type of puffiness remains the same through the day
Water retention: either hormonal imbalance or excessive salt intake can lead to puffiness under the eyes.
Allergies: allergic rhinitis, sinusitis or contact dermatitis can also lease to swelling of lower eyelids.
Sleeping on your abdomen
Treatment :
Mild puffiness can be treated with home remedies such as application of a cold spoon or tea bags and potato or cucumber slices. Even creams containing caffeine can cause reduction in puffiness.
Moderate puffiness: Tear trough fillers can help if there is a depression between the eyebags and the cheeks.

Sever puffiness: this can only be treated with lower eyelid blepharoplasty where protruded fat will have to be removed to give a good contour to the eyes.

Every morning I have very puffy eyes. Even so much that I shame in public. My friends send me this video of Dr. Anin sethi video where he explains puffy eye so well and in easy language for the common folks to understand.
