Once a place of happiness,
quiet nights beneath the stars
With his loved one by his side,
innocence inside her heart.
Now their gone with just their memories
of a time when God was near
walking with them through this land,
this land that now has disappeared.
The people had to go away, for in the end,
their choice was sin, But they believed there'd come a day, they would all come back again.
Walking through this quiet land, silent tears God cries alone, so much more that he had planned for the ones he'd called his own.
The people here have gone away, and at the gate, I said goodbye.
With sword in hand, I must defend,
their return I must deny
Now the time has come again, another place, a different land, will you choose to be with him?
Or reject his saving plan...
