Nice place in the summer (July), but miserable weather in the winter (August to June). Born and raised there but would never go back there to live. Weather just to nice here in Tucson Az.
My father use to live there during the late 80's & early 90's.he had a home at 1708 North Drew (3 blocks from Wisconsin Avenue & across from Erb Park).I visited him frequently during his days there.Been there many times while I lived up north.Today,I live in Bradenton,Florida.
Love the video! I am a student at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and I was wondering if I would be able to use some of the b roll in this video for a promotion video of the fox cities I am working on. I would give credit at the end of the video to this page or whom ever you would like! Please let me know! Thank you 😁
You captured it!!!! Great job! Next summer you should grab some shots of the new Appleton Skate Park in Telulah Park as it will be another awesome amenity for LU students and the entire community! Join: Appleton Skate Park-Telulah Park Project.
I live just down the road from downtown Appleton. It's a little fun to do stuff there, especially when Kitsunekon was still at the Raddison paper valley hotel. Which in my opinion, was not only a better location than its current one( KI convention center), but is one of the best hotels I've been to. It's relative size is pretty amazing and it's pool area is just a fun place to kick back relax, and just enjoy some swimming. Plus the community is that bad either, a lot of drunks, but hey it's a college area so it's expected XD. The only downside is the weather....it's Wisconsin so it's sucks!
LivBearVR 2011-2014 Kitsune Akon was held at the Radison!! ever since they’ve rebranded and the new convention center was built, though, the structural integrity of the building is having issues. it’s slowly collapsing into the ground.
Since interstate 41 had been installed in summer of 2014 in Appleton Wisconsin. Why not change Wisconsin state route 441 into the interstate 441 as of bypass of this city?
Come to Appleron for the beer (drunkest city in the U.S.),,, and stay for the 11 months of winter! You know what Harry Houdinis greatest escape was? Escaping from Appleton. hahahahahahahaha
gregg burton You do realize out Summers in Appleton are REALLY hot? I assume you don’t live in appleton because you’re being very rude, Appleton is a really beautiful place to live
In 69, when I was of legal age to drink, Appleton had the most bars of any city I've been in. At least two on every street on Ave. The Mark, Pat's Pub, The Shack, Sarge's, the one across the street from Bank near Prange'. Too many more to mention in whole city. The Mark & Shack were my hangouts. Bill Wendt, Berit Almin & I worked in the basement be of St. Joseph's Church fixing non alcoholic drinks while teens sat on pillows listing to Jim Wachtendonc play guitar & sing against the war. Pizza Palace served beer, Quarry out in boonies, CountryAire in Greenville a suburb of Appleton, bar on north Richmond St, Black Night near Appleton West High School. Ah yes, the good ole days looking for a place to party at. Hahn's Bowling Alley also had a bar. Funny, so many bars & I've been sober since 1972. It wasn't the beer that brought us together, it was the commeraderie.
Hi ! I'm so sorry to bother but I want to ask you a question and I will be glad if you gave your help. Well I'm not from USA And I want to ve a surgeon there so I am planning to go there after high school. My question is Lawrence University a good choice or I have to search for another university?
Hey you’re in luck I was in I’m not sure 1st I think it was grade we went to the town hall to vote if dogs (pets) should be alowed in the city parks about 5 years later (now) I’m in 6th grade they approved it and now we are allowed to bring our dogs into city parks! Hope this helped🙂

Actually winter in Appleton is crazy... You don't know when it starts or ends
If it wasn't for the weather I think Appleton would be a great place to live. Life here in Milwaukee can be rough sometimes.
Do you live in Appleton?

We are not the drunkest city, we drink the most. Wisconsin only has a couple of the drunkest city's in the US.

Appleton Wisconsin smells like farts. I lived most of my 39 years in this city. Now I do not. I’m so much happier:)
I LIVE THERE LOL
Same
Its kinda funny how the amount of views they got is like 1/2 of their population
Watching this reminded me why I moved out of Appleton.... Drunk people on college ave is not culture.
Well you must be either blind, daft, or both.
Bruh i live thete

Can't take your dogs to parks, though. Not a very pet friendly city imo.

Grand Chute parks allow pets, and it’s not that far a walk / drive from the core of Appleton :)
There's only one city in Wisconsin worth living in. Madison.
Nate Smith hey Madison is all crowded assuming you went into target it’s crowded!
Nate Smith Lol, I’m laughing because you are SOOO WRONG😂😂😂😂😂 come to Appleton
We have the country's biggest X-mas parade.
Madison’s kind of a shithole...
Appleton is better
