He's actually done the right thing in my opinion, he's staying until they have elected a new leader, then he'll be leaving as head, leaving a party headless is never a good idea, no matter what you think of the person staying on till a successor is named, is the correct and mature decision.

The Tories had to pay the price for having four prime ministers in as many years. Such a degree of infighting is unsustainable. Sunak, as tradition suggests, speaks with grace, but we all know the reality has always been backstabbing.

I mean, during Covid he caused the second lockdown to happen with his shitty eat out to help out scheme and then during his time in office the only notable things he did were slashing disability benefits, the failed Rwanda scheme that did nothing but burn more taxpayer money and then bragged in a private garden party that he took money from poorer areas and funnelled them over to the richer ones...
