Hey! I liked how they made this song their own. Honestly I never liked the original song, sorry, I don't know why, but I liked this version. Thank you for discovering these musicians to me, I'll dive into their music 👏👋

Their covers of "Jessica" and " One Way Out" will tell you why their fans call them the "Little sisters of the Allman brothers". Their originals are unbelievable, check out their Rockpalast performance from 2023, or their Chicago concert from that year, for songs off the Grammy winning album, and much more!

Thank you for checking these ladies out. Their covers channel is basically what they do for fun, and experiment with creating their own sound. They are recorded like this,in one shot and no overdubs. The primary focus of the recorded work is roots rock and blues. They won a Grammy for their last album "Blood Harmony". They are completely self-produced, on their own label Tricki-woo Records. When this came out, they had already been touring the world for 15 years. They have opened for the likes of ZZ Top, Bob Seger, toured with Elvis Costello as both opener and backing band, recorded with T-Bone Burnett and Steven Tyler, and the lust goes on. They started their performing career in the bluegrass band The Lovell Sisters with their older sister Jessica, and formed Larkin Poe when Jessica went on to other things. Rebecca was the first female to win "Best Mandolin" at Merlefest, which she did at 15. BTW, Rebecca shares a birthday with Dani Villarreal, January 30

These ladies can pretty much do it all. They can seamlessly weave through pretty much any genre and absolutely kill it! Their original music is absolutely killer, and their covers are about as great and uniquely original as anything you'll see and hear. I challenge you to delve into this rabbit hole. Please check out more!! Also, Rebecca Lovell, the lead singer/guitarists, has the same birthday as Dany from The Warning.

Aloha @MrsRealistic - I've been subbed for some time because you have done so many The Warning reactions. I support both Larkin Poe and The Warning. Fun Fact: these 2 bands have a similar upbringing; parents that are not musicians, but exposed their daughters to rock, and got them piano lessons at early ages...in Megan and Rebecca's case, they also had violin lessons as well. Actually, there 3 Lovell sisters, whom all excelled at piano and violin and choir. The Villarreals took a turn towards rock when they started playing the Rock Band video game. The Lovells took their turn away from classical music when they were exposed to bluegrass music, especially because they were amazed by the level of improvisation compared to classical. The Lovells produced 2 albums and toured all over the US and Europe. Then in 2010, the eldest quit the band for other pursuits and thus began Larkin Poe...an American Roots Blues southern rock band. The Warning and Larkin Poe are 5 of the most humble, down to earth, passionate and dedicated to their respective genre of rock humans you will ever meet!! The Warning are the first Mexican rock band to be signed to a major US record label. Larkin Poe continues to be independent recording artists with their own label! TW: 1 EP, 4 albums. Larkin Poe: 4 EPs, 7 albums and 1 Grammy. Both bands have been touring Europe this summer, and soon to be back in the US. Dany and Rebecca have the same birthday in January.
    🎶These are 2 of my favorite bands!🎶 #LarkinPoe #APDVillaReality
