Just a bunch of badies. Love em. Mayu's screams are awesome and her cleans have such a unique tone. Throaty, raspy, nasaly, but very rich. Another great reaction.
One of the best motivational songs of all time. "Kicks ass". 😁 Generally, those Japanese all-female Metal bands (LOVEBITES, Nemophila, Hanabie, HÁGANE) just know how to do it. As soon as I got to know their songs, they instantly filled my playlist. (Two thirds of it are filled by Japanese all-female Metal bands by now!) Incredible. "Thank you, Japan!" 😁🥲🤘 DE/GER
Title track to their debut album, this entire record is awesome, no skips for me. 🤘🤘. A perfect example of why they are my favorite band from Japan. Yeah, I love Mayu's screams too, she easily switches between cleans and harsh. I'm the same as you in that I never listened to harsh vocals until the last few years, never gave it a chance back in the day. Also from this album, "Dissension", "Change the World", "Raitei", and their first ever single "Oiran"
For the last two years I have been doing a deep dive into Japanese culture and music. Glad the younger groups can spread their talents and art which was not seen in the 80s even when groups like XJapan tried hard. It was the language barrier.- Thanks Dear (btw Metal is preventing dementia, scientifically proven 🤣).
Same. I've never really listened to this type of music. As mentioned, I stopped listening to any kind of rock or metal a long time ago. The fact that it's women and from another country is refreshing and just makes it more bad a$$! 'Life' and a box of tissues, next please! Mayu's lyrics are incredibly beautiful!🥲
most of their song balance Mayu's sing/screams which is smart (like Killswitch etc...) I'm in late 40's and grown on me too. Revive another older banger among many. There's no such song that sucks bring so creatively good. Any request or suggestion is good. Thank for reacting to another Nemo song.
Gracias por reaccionar a Nemophila,mi favorita de Japón! Tiene un equipo de ensueño y una cantante que puede cantar cualquier género musical, es fascinante!
My wife and I traveled to Tokyo for the first time to see Nemophila’s debut at Budokan, then went to see BAND-MAID at Zepp Yokohama, and finished with Babymetal at Yokohama Arena.
Nemophila release their new single on November 6, a ballad called Beautiful days. They also have a livestream from the 25th Sept concert on their homepage that will be up till Oct 25.
Like you, more and more reactors and fans of all-female Japanese Metal excellence find it hard to stay in their seats during songs. 😂 "I always feel the need to move somehow. Can't just keep sitting here." 😁 (Which is, by the way, good for our health.) More and more often I hear, "I will put this on my workout playlist." 😁 Keep on enjoying, *smiling* , and moving! 😁 🤘
Such a great band and my favorite for the last 2 years now and I don't see that changing any time soon. Don't know if you've seen this yet but Mayu collaborated with Shiena (vocals) Nagisa (drummer/Trident), Pinyo (bassist) to cover a couple of Maximum The Hormone songs recently. I'll post the link below. Mayu is going off in this one 🤘 ruclips.net/video/AV4FBwSG_kw/видео.html
No I'd say Lovebites Swan Song with Chopin Intro/La Campanella-Lost In The Garden/Edge of the world Live Memorial for the Warrior Souls those 3 Lovebites songs are timeless and very Epic as is the Ballad Epilogue also Lovebites like the other 3. I like Nemophila Revive though especially the MV where she runs up the stairs first before the scream/singing
I like both "Revive" performances. In the music video, I like the location and camera work. In this live stage video, I like their stage presence and how Tamu is "taking off" on the drums. Incredible ladies.
Listening to this right now I’m sick and my ears and sinuses are blocked so it sounds like I’m listening from another room, even with headphones on!😂 Anyway, thanks for the reaction video. 🇨🇦🤟
Tamu is wearing a Godsmack shirt, like she is in the MV. Not sure if it's the same one, it's cool either way. I want one, well not exactly like the one she's wearing, I am very sure it wouldn't look very good on me 😅Love me some Godsmack.
Mayu is the best of both worlds, great clean vocals with rasp and vibrato and great distored screams/growls, I love this band. That being said, if you enjoy her growls more, you should really check out Merging Moon and their singer Yu Umehara - this is a song from them called Greyen: ruclips.net/video/sIL-vgHNOu0/видео.html .They were on a show with Anthony Bourdain a few years back. Very underrated band unfortunately, I also only just found them a couple of months ago...
It's perfectly fine to just like what you like, and saying so without having to justify it for any reason.. I grew up in the 70s, and we liked everything from Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, MC5 to CCR, the Eagles, and James Taylor..Hell even some occasional Johnny Cash.. Nemophila and Lovebites are currently my number 1 bands (for different reasons).. I think it's hypocritical of younger people to praise bands like Zepplin, and Sabbath, or metal bands from the 80s, but then criticize those from that era about loving today's metal !..

I’ve been listening to that album a LOT in the car lately. Such perfection.
@@alexthorpe6583 I bought all of Nemophila's albums (MP3 downloads) after hearing 2 or 3 songs each. Never regretted it. Music excellence.
Woohoo! Been waiting for more Nemophila💪🏼 Try the song Raitei. Best finish EVER!❤️🍺
First time hearing Nemophila. Awesome! And your laugh at the start said it all!!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
@@MrsRealistic just sent you a donation request. If you like female growlers, you will love Jinjer!!
Awesome! I look forward to hearing something new (to me) 😁 Thanks so much!
Magical band, amazing musicians, close friends. Lovin’ Nemophila 🔥❤️

Yeah, this song persuaded me to by a 7 string. Thanks ladies!
I bought Saki’s seven string.

It's so nice to see real bands coming out of countries known for "puppy mill" bands.
I hear that so often! "I did not expect that", and so on. But the listeners are _amazed_ . DE/GER

Try NEMOPHILA’s covers of ROSIER (amazing singing) and 金色グラフティー/GOLDEN GRAFFTY (lots of screaming).
