Hey Brandon. Among others you, Jake and Tristan have inspired me. I had been a certified diver a long time ago but stopped because I didn't have any gear of my own and renting was too expensive. But now there is eBay and Craigslist. So I am gradually putting together a scuba outfit and I plan to go metal detecting under water one day. Right now I am missing weights, a tank and a gorilla sized BCD. But I am looking forward to getting back to it. Thank you guys very much for adding more fun to dys"fun"ctional. :-)

4:55 Everybody keeps getting all butthurt because they say he killed an innocent creature that didnt do anything. Guys, that egg not only hadn't developed a turtle yet, but couldn't possibly develop one anyway because it had been submerged in water. He didnt kill anything, because the egg never had anything alive in it to kill. Keep up the good work dude, dont listen to these people.

My family has camped at Ginny Springs for over a decade, and continue to do so. Over the years, we have found things in the river from a jar of pickles to a car battery! We would pay the kids to clean up the river. One year, they used a small inflatable pool to collect all manner of trash. Sunglasses, mag lights, knives, and a waterproof camera belonging to a veteran on leave. We were able to locate him in the park at one of the pavillions. He was so extatic to get his camera back, they invited us to stay and eat, and party with them. Sadly, we were on our way out headed home. Great place to camp!!!

I don’t typically like swimming in rivers (or any place that isn’t a pool for that matter) but it looks sooo beautiful there I would go swimming (not in the creepy alligator water obviously) but the highly populated area. You have so many cool adventures but I have a weird phobia that prevents me from enjoying rivers, lakes, beaches, creeks, etc. which is sad but you guys are starting to help me get over my phobia. Side note: I love it when Brandon chases after fish. We are all children on the inside. Thank you guys for posting your adventures! Keep doing what you like! Thank you!😁
PugParty39 that's what springs typically look like here in Florida. The water is typically extremely cold and crystal clear. The murky stuff is usually the rivers they connect to. Often times they're sectioned off right at that point. Gator also don't venture into the spring area very often. Sometimes smaller ones do find there way in there and rarely the big boys. It's so densely populated by people that they don't go in there. You're more likely to accidentally bump into not 1 or 2 but entire families of manatee.
I was sitting on a log at blue springs at the spring head that had fallen into the water and formed an arc over the water and had an ENTIRE family of them swim under me. 2 big ones and a little baby. They usually sit at the very edge away from people in the dozens. Oh and gar. Lots of gator gar. They find themselves swimming in there. Not much to worry about those as you can see they chased a gar. They're shy. Lol try it. It's pretty great and even better with family/the right people.

Did you all go to any of the springs on the Suwannee? When I move back home with my kids in Jan, first thing we’re planning is a camping trip to our favorite hidden springs-there are MANY! My eldest’s father, my first love, is from Live Oak. He started taking me to the springs in ‘79-it’s addicting! The best way to find them is get a canoe, start up at the State Park. I think they have maps showing the major springs either directly connected to the river or usually just 5-10 yards from the river. For the best ones, you need a local. Considering the thousands that go to the springs each year, (Peacock is the most popular diving spot bc of the caves), and have for a hundred years or more-God knows what you could find. Ginny & the other springs off Sante Fe are so crowded with divers, they’re probably more picked over. Other great spots: Wakulla Springs & river (TONS of gators though!), Econfina river and Ichnatucknee-not sure about the spelling, but a LONG river, clear, used to be HUGE tubing & rafting attraction, but I think they severely limited it because of the trash. Have fun!

Well, a lot of people tend to get drunk while going down Santa Fe. (I've been to Ginnie Springs a ton) And you tend to be very clumsy while drunk.
Someone threw some expensive things of mine in the water and I haven’t got my scuba stuff yet so I lost them
The best spot to hit there is right where Ginnie dumps into the river. You get a lot of tubers that frantically paddle to get into Ginnie from the river and they fall over and lose a bunch of stuff. I always have success there.

If it makes you feel better, aquatic creatures have round eggs (*almost* always.) so that was almost certainly just a chicken egg. How does that make it better? Well, if you see how the egg was kinda rubbery, that means it was rotten. Anything inside was long dead.
Also, the egg was undoubtedly unfertilized. Not to sound gross, but if the egg was fertilized, there would be the beginning of a chicken in there... Even if just some veins.
I think he genuinely thought it was just a food-grade chicken egg someone doped. (And he was probably right)

Scubba diving has been one of the biggest dreams of my life. I was so passionate about getting my chance to make this dream come true. Unfortunately tragedy hit when I was 14 causing me to not be able to follow this dream. Long story short I was rushed into emergency surgery and the long painful process of recovery for a year after. That was not the end come to find myself having to go through so many more manipulations and several more corrective surgeries preventing me from being able to even swim. So needless to say your videos give me so much joy as it's the closest I'm gonna get to actually diving unless a miracle happens

I go to ginne every year and find stuff on a family vacation my uncle found a gopro that works and he uses it for videos also it was so much more packed when i went a month ago caught a huge mudfish up at beavers landing it was fun
