Take a full ride on the Matterhorn Bobsleds as Disneyland debuts the new Abominable Snowman effects and animatronics for 2015 during the 60th anniversary celebration. This vieo takes a ride on the left side of the attraction.

I absolutely love the way he now leans into the riders, instead of the old stationary stance, raise of the arm, and mouth opening and closing. He looks and sounds so much more realistic!
This new yeti seems far more thrilling. What a great addition!

Hello! If you would like a nostalgic trip through the Mighty Matterhorn, then just remember you are riding the very first tubular steel rollercoaster. That should be enough nostalgia for you. The new roar is ferocious and mature. Harold has grown into an amazing beast we will love for years and years to come! When you grow up, your features change. And that should be no different for our beloved Harold the Abominable Snowman!

Left side is faster at the top, more intense throughout, and the last Yeti animatronic appears earlier in the ride. Right side is slower at the top but speeds up towards the bottom, is 100 feet longer and 20 sec longer, and the last Yeti appears closer to the end of the ride.
Take your pick! I rode both sides last night and the right side might be my new favorite.
I once got on this side just as the heavens opened up and a very treacherous, heavy rain began to pour down. Every time the bobsled went into or came out of the mountain it was like we plunged through a waterfall that was coming down each side of the man-made mountain. We were completely drenched when the ride stopped. It was a strange, wonderful, freezing trip through the mountain I'd never want to do again...but I will also never forget it.

I have a feeling they're going to change the roar a few weeks after opening from all of the complaints
Expedition Matterhorn: Revenge of the Yeti, Episode II. This is should be a good series, Ricky lol.
I love the new effect of the reflection of the Abominable snowman on the ice and him roaring like he is going to break out of the ice and attack you. Also love the new wreckage scene illusion of the abominable Snow man Wrecked the Cars adds to the Story. The new Abominable Snowman resembles the previous one just more updated and more realistic.The New Roar of the abominable Snowman Seems kinda Weaker than the previous one they need to make it louder or Bring back the previous one I read a lot of comments on the POV's a lot of people prefer the previous roar over the new one.

***** Yeah i agree the Roar seems kinda Weak Compared to the previous one. They could bring it back if a lot of people complain about it. I love how disney added more detail of the Story with the digital reflection of the Abominable Snow man on the ice and the wreckage Scene.

Andre Wallace I think the new trains are way better more room you are not sitting on someones lap they have their own individual seat more leg room. Rather than sharing the same seat squeezing in sitting in front someones crouch.
Can someone explain to me why the line for the left side on crowded days is always like three times the length of the line for the right side?
WWEFiesta02 could be location, could be that the left side can be seen as the wilder side
+WWEFiesta02 Might just be your timing as well. When it's very busy, they send a select amount of people to the left side and then the same amount of people to the right side. :)
The left side is much tougher and more intense so maybe more people go on the left

I like the new German-accented guy. Does anyone else find the lineup of tool boxes on hand trucks a little unsettling? As in "Uh, yeah, this ride is held together with spit and bailing wire, so we need to keep them handy."
From what I could tell when I was at the park, those are used to move the poles around for the queue line

Lindsay Jones I didn't mean it in a bad way. It's just that the camera must had a noise cancellation software and cancelled most of the music and sound effects. The intention of the video is positive but it makes the attraction look dull.
