Not to mention that if her axe swing kills an enemy outright the remaining HP that she should have healed had the enemy had HP to tick away is instantly given to her. I saw Emongg get a double axe kill and instantly jumped in HP and ult meter. May not contribute to the ult and more than it normally would, but such burst healing could inadvertantly let he dtay alove longer and build quicker ults in those specific cases.

thanks for this info!! do you know if mitigating damage plays any role into building ult charge? d.va’s defense matrix mitigates a LOT and she usually has a pretty fast ult charge. i just wondered if the two are correlated at all!
Damage mitigated doesn’t give ult charge. And Dva does in fact have the cheapest tank ultimate.
There is a bug that allows Dva to heal allies, so technically she can with defence matrix (Marblr has a video for that), but damage mitigated has nothing to do with gaining ult charge.
Also I have a suspicion that her healing is broken because Carnage *seems to* heal with the damage of the swing, not just the wound damage
It doesn’t. Though, the wound effects on low hp targets can be miscalculated from the game rounding the damage values. It happens only on low hp targets that die from wound damage and it ranges between 1-6 less health gain.
How does ult charge transfer when switching hero?
If X hero has 100% ult, the ult charge transferred to hero Y is capped at 25%.
If hero X has ult charge that is 25% or below, then it's a 1:1 transfer of ult charge to hero Y. Ultimates have different costs, so that may mean the percentage could be lower, but again, it's still capped at 25%. 16% of Zarya's ult charge could be transferred to 22% of Rein's ult charge.
There are other possibilities, but that's all you need to know.
