This was the first gym battle theme that I fully loved upon first listen.

Hated this when I was 13. Now it's probably like my second favorite? But I still think maybe it takes a little too long to get going, and that maybe the Mega Korrina version should've been the default.

Kinda gives a Colosseum/XD vibes, it's one of my favorites battle themes so far, always gives me the chills

This song still gives me chills, its so good, one of best parts about the gyms (besides the cool designs) was the great music.

What sort of music genre does this track apply to ?
If y'all are doing a Flying Type Nuzlocke or Monorun in X and Y. Be prepared for Grant, Clemont, and Wulfric because they have pokemons that happens to have types that Flying Type is weak to

Oh man, I am humilheted the 8 gym but I Took a beating to elite 4
This game had the easiest gyms ever and its not even funny
it makes me kinda sad tbh. If this game was harder it would make it my fav pokemon game.
I would argue that in a nuzlocke context viola is on the harder end of first gyms because she has coverage against 2/3 of the starters and her ace is somewhat bulky against neutral attacks, still easy if you have potions though
Also I think later johto gyms might be easier because gyms 5-7 gain like no levels but idk my last full kalos playthrough was a long time ago
Just turn off exp share when your around the gyms level to escape grinding but still have a challenge
Ramos is I think the easiest "major" battle in the entire series
Imo this is the worse gym theme in the series so far

I mean, it’s hard to make a bad Gym Leader theme Imho. This one is the weakest but that doesn’t mean bad at all. I like the club-ish feel to it. Fits the region of fashion and aesthetics.
People now point at Gen 9’s Gym Leader theme and I disagree with that too, that one is awesome, the issue is that the segments are way, way too short.
@@reydesonic The Gen 9 theme is pretty good honestly, the only complaint I have is that they added the cheering vocals from SWSH
