We went to Prachuap Khiri Khan for New Year’s Eve. The town is one of my favorite places for the relaxed atmosphere. Here is the video of what it was like for the holiday. New Years Eve Walking Street Night Market and harbor - Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand ruclips.net/video/BC8dBaKgbQU/видео.html
Hi, how are the New Year's Eve fireworks there? Right now I'm thinking about watching them in Hua Hin but.....if they are good down there, that gives me other options...thanks.
Prachuap Khiri Khan is one of my favorite places in Thailand. It’s not crowded and has a traditional feel to the old town. There are also some nice beaches here. I skip Hua Hin now and go to here if possible.
Very picturesque beach and cute town. Where in the USA are you from? Nice bubbly laugh 😊 I lived in Seattle and Houston - so when you said “shells” instead of “mussels and clams” … I’m guessing you didn’t grow up by the ocean. 🤭 (Retired in Bangkok now.) 🇹🇭🇺🇸😊🙏🏻
I’m originally from Colorado, so ya way away from the ocean. Lol my wife always calls them shells so I think I repeat it from her. I have a brother in Seattle and have been there many times. I was stationed in Texas at Fort Hood as well so families with Houston and that area as well. The best from Texas to Bangkok probably didn’t even phase you. It was a bit tough for me. I think I was miserable for at least 3 years but now I can’t handle to cold of the San Juan Mountains (Durango area). I live and work in Bangkok so I always enjoy getting out of the city and Prachuap Khiri Khan is always high on my list. Appreciate the view and glad you enjoyed it.
That oil was black at 4.34m, i heard to look for light colored oil with the sellers, not a fan deep fried anything, plays havoc with me-guts. Is there anyone in PKK that does Golf tours, i read some course are very expensive and aren't to good to visitors, but that was back 4 years or more.
Ya the fried foods gets you sometimes. I’m not sure about golf in the area. I think most people golf around Hua Hin but I’m sure there is something. I used to play back in the day but my clubs are in the states. I have been thinking about trying the course that is at Don Mueang airport in Bangkok. Would be interesting since it’s out among the runways.

Really enjoyed the video.
That is good to hear. This is such a great little seaside town and I just barely scratched the surface of what it’s like.
It's very beautiful small little towns I'm excited to see and to watch the different parts of Thailand that I never knew about them.

I miss Prachuap!
It’s a great part of Thailand. Glad you enjoyed the video and glad to bring back some good memories for you from this amazing little town.
Soi suc is a majority Chinese section of town. Really nice little festival every Sunday evening.
I didn’t even know about the festival on Sunday evenings there. I will have to check it out. Appreciate the info.
