And as somebody who studied Italian (and mastered its pronunciation), I can attest to Tommy's proficiency in that, too. So many moments in this song that sent a wave of goosebumps rushing down from the top of my head all the way down to my ankles. The dexterity and precision with which he handled the guitar solo at the end left me just as wide-eyed as you were! Tommy is one-of-a-kind. ♥
The clip at the start is from the recent Sabaton concert in Milano, when Tommy spoke to the audience in italian. Saw the Sabaton vlog of it, blew me away, didn't know Tommy could speak italian. I'm Italian and sing 883 is not easy 😅. Max Pezzali has a unique voice but, this cover is absolutely amazing and tommy's Italian is almost perfect, it's hard think he comes from Sweden.

This is an old song by 883 and it was and still is very popular and well known here in Italy. Tommy's version is way better than the original! He has a bit of an English or American accent but his Italian is very good! Bravo.

I think their career doesn't need to be revived as they (he actually) still play in front of 60'000 people per show. The original of course is a pop radio song, but these songs are really recalling a lot of good times back in the 90s. I'm glad to hear some cover of this as well
I am a huge fan of 883 and I can tell you that this song is a milestone of 90s Italian music. It has raised entire generations. The songwriter sings in front of 100,000 people in stadiums, just see the last concert at the San Siro stadium in Milan, needs no introduction and doesn't need to be compared to other singers. That said, Tommy was great at playing this love song in a metal version.
