Hey Sven 👋, I saw 👀 a comment saying that the cats 🐈 were worshipped because they were able to get rid of the rats 🐀 that had infested the area in ancient times! I guess you have a difficult 😕 time finding postcards because they have gone digital. It's interesting seeing 👀 🤔 you enjoying all the different types of food during your travels 😋. At least you manage to stay in great shape 👍 😀!😅😊
hey there, yeah they‘re basically warrior cats! 😄 Thanks so much for your comment, make sure to check out my other videos as well as I travel to other parts of the country!😊🙏🏼
There is a place in Sichuan where rats were infested for a period of time in ancient times. Later, many cats came from nowhere to solve the rat problem. People built temples for these cats, with cat statues in shrines. Now the temple is well maintained.
When we find it quite hard to make a choice among street food and restaurants, just follow those kids. They always know which one has the most tasty cuisine with the nicest price. (They even share their food and snacks sometimes)
It can be but not always, coz some restaurants make advertising videos on tt or like which go viral and so many followers go there. Chances r that u wait for 2 hrs and get some costly and so-so, if not terrible, dishes. For me, i usually check the restaurant rating app such as Meituan or Dazhong Dianping, which provide info on price, food pics, decoration pics, menus and customers' comments. That helps me a lot.
you are still in Shanghai. if you are interesting with the ancient town, you should visit Yunan province, you can find the biggest ancient town in Dali and Lijiang.
Thank you for the recommendation! Unfortunately i‘m gonna leave Shanghai soon and am planning to visit the next city, I‘m thinking of visiting Beijing. do you perhaps have some tips in Beijing for me?
@@svenstravelchannel since you are new comer to China. Beijing definitely is worth for visiting. I'm living in Shenzhen and I have travel to Beijing three times. here is some tips maybe you knew already. 1. Forbidden city and Tiananmen square 2. Greatwall 3. Temple of Heaven 4. Beijing Universal Cinema (depends on you) 5. Jingshan park Citywalk: Wangfujing street or Sanlitun Hope can help.
