I don't understand why FDev feel such a great need to delay this particular part of the narrative from advancing. The only explanation I can think of is that PowerPlay2.0 isn't ready to go live, but in that case why would it matter whether the Federation President is Hudson or Winters?

Why unlimited range?? > Perhaps they need a squad of transport ships equipped with fuel scoops. The owner buys the ships.. then pays NPC's to fill operate them and replenish the fleet carrier.
