These artist today can’t touch this. She was a lady, beautiful, sexy without being trashy, talented without the profane language. Talent that is timeless and that you enjoy ❤️❤️
I’m only 30 years old and after watching the HBO documentary and finishing it in tears... my my my, what a beautiful life. Full of pain and hardship but only to rise above. She literally is the embodiment of strength. Oh and also fell in love with this song. I grew up thinking it was Missy Elliots. I love you Tina.
I was a skinny white girl raised in an oppressive Lutheran church remembering watching Tina Turner for the first time and wishing I could be like her. What a force of nature. Thank you, Tina. You taught me that I could perhaps be a badass. May you rest in peace.
I was lucky to see her live in Toronto. Couldn’t take my eyes off her when she was up there belting out her songs. I will miss her but know she is with the rest of the greats, probably having a blast, jamming together!!🤍✨🎶
No matter wheter you listen to her musik of not she was a phenomenal woman as a person and an artist! I see you on the long walk and we make some noise.
I am in my 40s. I remember my mom and aunts listening to her songs. From my teenage age until today I still listen to her songs. She is a stunningly sexy, powerful voice with a sexy tone. Music like this is forever. Love her and I wish I had the chance to see her perform live.
I'm 45 and my first exposure to Tina was mad max beyond the thunderdome. But I was mesmerized by her she is such a beautiful woman and such presence. She is unmatched in music. She has the voice and the will within it to command you to listen. My favorite female singer period!!
Tina Turner sure gives you your money's worth whether you went to her concerts or brought her albums. I love this performance, so much energy and passion from her.
Living well is the best revenge and to get there Tina Turner had to go through some incredible lows. Becoming a superstar at age 44 is unheard of, yet she did it on her own terms. Her voice and performing ability allowed her to elevate any song she did - especially live.
Tina was a star since her 20s, but it was in group with Ike. She had built an audience. Ike was pretty much the producer and musician of their group and Tina was the front women. All she did by going solo was cut out the middle man, who was her ex-husband who she had a tumultuous relationship with. In the 80s several older artist had career revivals, that breathed new life their careers (James Brown, Denise Williams, but Tina did take it to another level. I think Lionel Ritchie was older too, after going solo from the Commodores in the 80s. His album was huge back then. Now it’s such a youth oriented, microwave culture, what Tina did would no longer be possible. Young people are too disconnected from anything that isn’t in their echo chamber. I was a kid, but I still liked Tina music in the 80s.
Dedicating this to the now late & great World Music Empress, Ms Tina Turner!! Rest in Paradise, Queen Tina!!! 💘 Sagittarian Rock & Roll Goddess In Heavenly Rest! 🎶 ☁ 🙏
Here is an example of someone triumphing over adversity and appealing to three generations of fans. Not many stars manage to do that. When considering the tough times she went through it is tempting to say that I hope she can now rest in peace, but I don't feel that she is one to want to stay still and quiet. I remember some years ago she was going to retire - it did not last long, she was soon back in action. "The rocking granny" as one paper put it. Tina Turner, known all around the world and by generations from Boomers to many current teenagers. Long may her music and memory live on.
I was still a kid when my dad may his soul rest in peace was playing this lovely song... Now am 38 years old I came across this lovely song on RUclips I stated shading tears... love the vibe , the energy, the instrumentals, the piano guy that was back her in that song.... Wow I love you dear Tina Turner... Thanks for what you have inspired the world... I Love You
Always loved this woman...grew up with her music and my mum, an avid fan, would tell me how she had a 'hard life' and never to let a man tell me how to live my life. After watching the documentary, i now know why. So much respect for this queen!
Omg I can't... When I clicked on this video and saw her I had to smile immediately, she has so much power and her voice has such a dirtyness (in a very good way). I get so happy when I see n hear this.
What unbelievable performance! This woman has gave your best in every show! Unfortunately i was a child when she comes to Brazil in the late 80's. The only one artist, next to Marie Fredriksson from Roxette, which I've dropped a tear 😢
It's so unfortunate to realize the opportunity that is passed up to witness such an awesome talent live. I always said to myself, "oh I'll get around to seeing her live in concert" but I never did. After watching TINA! I realize what I truly missed out on.🤕 I'm sick for missing her performances.
Hi there Thanks for your love and support that has brought me this far, it has been a hard time for me going through this but your love and support keeps me going and standing strong in this difficult times. I do read your heartwarming comments and I truly appreciate all you’ve done for me throughout the years. It’s a season of love for me and so I decided to put a smile on the faces of my fans by going through my RUclips channel and checking out on my fans, so I can get to communicate with my fans better through discussion of depth and humor listening to compliments and criticism of my career 🌹
Saw Tina Turner in concert a few years ago, it was a fantastic experience & I will never forget ❤ the moment Tina appeared. My boyfriend & I appeared with Tina on stage. We appeared on the video screen, which captured us in the crowd! (So sort of on stage with TT)!!😎⭐♥️

Actually, it's from Ann Peebles, 1973.
Tina killed it, but you gotta give credit to Ann Pebbles. The original is a work of art.
@@emily4gov007 better Tinas version
This song and "Better be good to me" are my faves. They don't seem to get as much kudos as her others.
Totally agree
Rest in peace, Tina. Sing loud and proud with the angels. You are loved and missed.

The greatest live performer ever to be on a stage, that's Tina Turner!! No one comes close!!
It's like watching someone come alive on stage, right in front of you. The amount of energy she gave in her performances was out of this world.
