  • Here is a video of our biggest snow storm of the year. In this video I help one of the guys plow some commercial parking lots. This storm we got 22" of deep snow. Im using a Kubota M5 91 with a 10.5 arctic sectional snow pusher. #business #equipment #construction #snow #snowplow #skidsteer #snowremoval #tractorvideo #kubotatractor #snowpusher #kubota

Hi Tyler. Great job with the cleanup. We've had a few storms like this one in the past. I'm over in Minocqua, WI. Last year, on April 1-2 we received 2 ft of snow that was like plowing concrete. I started plowing my stuff at around 7 inches and just kept going till the storm ended.
Then the calls started coming in. Lots of people waited till the snow ended to try and Plow, and alot of folks were breaking their trucks. Up to that point we had my truck and boss V Plow combo, and a 40hp Kubota L3600 open station with a basic ass 6ft Pusher that I had bought in December. It blew my mind how well that little 40 hp tractor could push that wet snow around. Other than being cold (it was around 30, so not that bad) because it's an open station, it had me asking myself why I'd ever run a $60K truck into a 3 ft snow wall that the town made for me ever again.
After that storm, I looked at and tested a couple machines. I wound up going with a 73 hp Kioti 7320, and bought a 9 ft Hiniker scoop plow and 8 ft box blade. Sadly we've barely had 2 ft of snow this entire year up here, but finally on 3-25-24 we had a nice 10" extremely wet snow storm. Out I went in the tractor. And man, it is nuts the amount of snow that can ball up in front of that thing and that tractor just keeps going! I love it man!
I know you don't care to use the arctic on your Kubota, but I sure do like watching this thing do work, and I really like the point-of-view it offers. What mount are you using for windshield shots? I've been doing alot of experimenting with different mounting locations, and that one might be one I need to copy from you on occasion.
Keep up the great work bud!

@@tandtlandscapeandmasonry I try. Been using a truck for 20 years and occasionally using the tractor to move banks back. I wouldn't mind trying out a Boss pusher on it and pick up an inverted blower for the rear. Thanks for the info sir.

Crazy how different the snow was just a half hour from Auburn. We got a bunch of freezing rain which made the snow hell. Get ready for next weeks storm now 😅

Serious question: That doesn't hurt the transmission shifting way before you stop and go in other direction?

With this hydroshuttle transmission I do not believe so. Was told you can do that without the clutch
