Welcome to my RUclips channel! My name is Tyler Kachnovich and here you will find everything from snow plowing, excavation and landscaping videos! We are mainly a hardscape company in the summer and snow plowing company in the winter. We have JCB equipment and lots of snowplows. Mainly fisher and arctic snow pushers. This channel has reviews on all equipment we own and many in cab videos! Enjoy!

@@PazYasharahla no but when hooked on to a trailer yes
@ thanks for the response.
Does it have enough power? I love the concept and have been looking for a while at the 3ts-8 but am concerned for all the weight and moving parts I feel like it may be short on power…… 114hp seems like what it should have for this model.
@@CFLDumpsters your right it does need more power but having no def is nice too. It’s not that bad for stuff like this but you can tune it up to 100 horse

So I have a Takeuchi CTL and a 14K dump trailer. Have you had any issues dumping the snow out of the trailer when you raise it? I’d imagine all of it or most of it would stick. And then require lots of shoveling. No?? Thanks.
@@Boogle912 I fluid film or use old motor oil and cover the entire body then everything slide out awesome.
@6:30 I had pericarditis as post-Covid symptom. Self admitted to hospital. No chest pain just discomfort. But short of breath was bad bad bad. And coughing attacks. Mine cleared up in 2 weeks. Took naproxen and laid low and didn’t do projects. I do hope you’ve been fine since. Let us know.
Damn that sounds even worse than what I was dealing with. Yes it cleared right up after this video thank god
I’m hoping you can answer me this. Your opinion. CTL vs. SS question. Two machines being equal in weight and horsepower. And the snow blade or snow pusher or snow bucket being equal on both machines. Would you recommend a wheeled skid steer with Wolf snow tires. Or a CTL with snow zig zag tracks? Would your answer change from wet warm snow vs. cold dry snow that makes noise when driven on? Thanks!!! At 4:38 it looks like your SS fell behind! And 8:30 it got stick too.
@@Boogle912 I like tires because they drive faster and ride better. Less rubber on the ground makes better traction as well. But my track with snow tracks and studs does push more snow because it weighs 3,000 lbs more. I have snow wolfs and they work great but a jerky as hell almost work to good. I have another machine with just a wide snow tire that goes good too. The ss fell behind because the one in the video is a 7600 lb skid. My tire teleskid which was in a different town weighs 10,000 and wouldn’t fall behind like the small one
I feel like I’d clean the light posts as the first thing. Then the parking lot. I think it’ll go better and faster.
@@Boogle912 hmmm maybe 🤷♂️
Ugh, I work a maintenance job and my employer had the choice between a cat and a jcb and god I wish they would’ve chose the JCB. When I test drove it, the visibility was great, I didn’t feel claustrophobic like I do in the cat.

What are you spraying on the back of the plow? Some type of lubricant or rust preventor?
@@normanharbinson2811 fluid film rust protection. Also helps snow fall off if u spray on the blade
Good video. I enjoy the work you do. We have done the same this past 2 weeks to our winter equipment.
Are you from New England? Snow coming next week I guess
@ from the Mid Atlantic Area. I service an airfield all year long. From mowing to snow removal. So when it flurries it’s like a blizzard. The aircraft have to come and go. Tough job.
@ I bet!
Hey bro, have u ever heard of putting calcium on the inside of the salt box? Or vibrator is good enough. I pucked up this gig salting p lots im watching ur techniques
I’ve never done the calcium but would probably be a good idea or maybe even fluid film. I have a heated shop so if I don’t get rid of it it goes inside or if they have to stay outside for a long time I make sure they are empty
@tandtlandscapeandmasonry 🤔 ic , so I guess rule of thumb is to try n leave the bin empty if ur not using daily and have no shop. And do u know of its normal to have a guy run the loader to plow and then run the salt Truck afterwards? Idn if I'm doing to much lol. I don't mind the 40 bucks but I'm out for 15 hours sometimes
@ yes for sure. And that’s how we do it. As soon as we are done scraping we throw salt on immediately
@tandtlandscapeandmasonry core memory updated! 🧐

How many plow u going to use this year for the trucks keep up the great work on your channel
@@brendonpartridge6362 realistically I only wanna use 3 of these plows every storm. But for our pushers all of those will be used every storm
@tandtlandscapeandmasonry u really need 3 plows for a storm and u got the skid steer and the push box for every storm i want to get in the snow removal my business is only small insurance is expensive
@brendonpartridge6362 gotta slowly build, man. I'm at 2 trucks with plows planning on getting a spreader for my dump and for the other truck, then give it another try next season. Last season I tried just one truck with a backup subcontractor and the sub ended up doing most of the work so I took this season off to work on equipment
@ good luck this year and for sure
All of my equipment has flashing led lights on all sides of it for the reason at 7:42 last thing you need is to be hit while plowing because no one can see you

@ thank you!
@@tandtlandscapeandmasonry I have 4 v plows & we pull the canisters off & clean the filters with break cleaner.
@ think I should start doing that?
Just a question I'm sure there a good reason why, when you remove a grade 5 bolt for a grade 8. I mean, the bolt and nut are removed, flip them. So you can use the impact of your choice if or when it comes again. Just a question...
@@bgc242 the trip edge spring is in the way for the nut side so you can’t get a socket on just a wrench.

@@tandtlandscapeandmasonry oh ok ty for the quick response 👍
Great informative video. I like the way you show and explain your methods. Works well. Thanks. I am doing the same thing at work. Getting ready for winter.
Great video! We do the same thing here at work. One exception is that at the opening ( where the doors close) we put a 2” x 4” on each side. The track is like 48” tall. Then we place 2” x 6” or 8” from side to side to make a wall. We usually can get another 3 to 4 yards of salt in there. Just remember that the door closes before you fill with salt. I will save the long story and embarrassment on that. Keep the videos coming! Great job!
@@Drfsr77422 thank you! Haha

Looking at a kubota m6 101 with snow tires and 13’ LD. Do you think turning will still be an issue with snows? I like my skid but I can only run max a 10’ pusher on it with snow tires. My 4075r with 8-13 mp will do detail work. So my question I guess is ssv75 with snow tires and 10’ hla pusher or m6 101 with snows and 13’ Ld more productive? M6 there’s no clutching for gears. Would be used in tandem with 4075r on lots totalling 450,000 sqft.
That’s the tractor I want instead of mine. I think it would work good with snow tires. Worst case put studs in the front
